This thread is about God Justifying the ungodly.
I understand that, that is why I posted this with the supporting ideas from Yahshua..

Exodus 23:7,from a false matter thou dost keep far off, and an innocent and righteous man thou dost not slay; for I do not justify a wicked man."

John/Yahanan 15:5-16, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, produces much fruit; but without Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away like a branch, and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned."

this is a great passage on justification:

Acts 3:19-23, “Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master, and that He sends יהושע Messiah, pre-appointed for you, whom heaven needs to receive until the times of restoration of all matters, of which the Mighty One spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old. For Mosheh truly said to the fathers, ‘יהוה your Mighty One shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear according to all matters, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every being who does not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.”

Peter says:

Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master,"

that means one has to repent that their sins may be blotted out by YHWH because of the self offering Yahshua made as the TRUE passover lamb.

And it shall be that every being who does not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.”

For you see

James 2:19-20, "You believe that YHWH is one. (Deu 6:4) You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder! But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that the belief without the works is dead?"

James 2:14, “My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but does not have works? This belief is unable to save him.”

how can that be Faith in Christ
:rolleyes: ... I place my faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What I reject is your erroneous dogma.

you have yet to respond meaningfully to Post 3872 (which points out your erroneous interpretation of Scripture submitted in your Post 3869) ... therefore, your Post 3869 has been refuted.

the people Christ died for, had their sins imputed to Him, and so in Justice, they cant be imputed to them
:rolleyes: ... the Lord Jesus Christ died for the whole world ... all descendants of Adam:

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Scripture tells us when God imputes righteousness:

Romans 4:

20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him [Abraham] for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it [righteousness] was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Again, the people Christ died for, had their sins imputed to Him for Him to die for them in their place and stead, so that being the case, God will not impute sin unto them, they are forgiven and Justified.

Faith is faith ... there is only one faith (Eph 4:5) with which mankind believes.

The issue is not "do you have faith".

The issue is "in WHOM do you have faith".

The atheist believes there is no God.

The pagan believes in many gods.

The born again one believes in God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ ... the Savior of the whole world ... all descendants of Adam.

Romabs 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it [the gospel of Christ] is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein [in the gospel of Christ] is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Acts 2:38-39, “And Kĕpha said to them, “Repent, and let each one of you be immersed in the Name of יהושע Messiah for the forgiveness of sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Set-apart Spirit. “For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as יהוה our Elohim shall call.”

Thats for the Justified, they are already Justified and forgiven by the blood and death of Christ. Christ has given them repentance Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Peter is specifically preaching to a people called the house of Israel in the context Acts 2:36

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

So you only accept Paul's writings? Not Jesus or His 12 disciples?

So Gentiles have no need to repent? They can walk in sin? Or do Gentiles need to repent also?

:rolleyes: ... Peter was standing before the high priest and the council in Acts 5 ...

and brightfame52, "give" in Acts 5:31 is the Greek word didōmi

Thayer's Greek Lexicon:
6. δίδωμι is joined with nouns denoting an act or an effect
...
b. the noun denotes something to be done by him to whom it is said to be given: διδόναιτίνι μετάνοιαν, to cause him to repent, Acts 5:31; Acts 11:18;γνῶσινσωτηρίας,Luke 1:77; ἐλπίδα τίνι, 2 Thessalonians 2:16.

and if we continue reading ...

Acts 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him

... interesting you refuse to include vs 32 in your erroneous rendering of Acts 5:31.
