Yes I do. New Creation Church appears to be the only church in Singapore that leans towards dispensationalism.

But I do reflect on his teachings a lot so I don't just take them blindly.

If you want to understand Paul's gospel of grace better, NCC is probably the only church in Singapore that is Pauline.

Please dont take this as an attack. But to me its preaching the gospel. I am trying to show the truth I found.

No worries, I am chill with different viewpoints. After all, isn't this forum full of all kinds of different viewpoints? I find it very fascinating to understand different people and their different viewpoints.

But I understand this forum has certain rules against discussing anything regarding "grace preachers" so I think we should move on from JP.

Hi Nat,
I like his teaching, it has helped me greatly. As far as what he is or isn't is between him and the Lord.

Apparently he has a net worth of 5 million. Do you think it's ok for a Christian to live in luxury while there are so many people in need?.

Isnt it shocking to you that a church building cost $280 Million dollars when there are so many poor people in the world. And this is true Christianity according to some. Giving money to a building to make more money. Instead of to those in need.🤨

Ok I didn't realize there were rules about "grace preachers". I thought this site would have encouraged that because of the majority.

Obedience to God is a must, that's how one gets to keep the word of God.
James 1:22
But be "doers" of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Romans 2:6-8
He will render to each one according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.

John 14:15
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

Acts 5:29
But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.

1 Peter 1:14
As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance,

1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

Luke 6:46
“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?

John 14:31
But I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.

1 John 3:24
Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

Luke 11:28
But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

John 14:23
Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

LOVING GOD MEANS TO KEEP HIS WORD

John 14:21
Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

John 14:23
Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

*We are Jesus friends if we do what he commands us to do-

John 15:14
You are my friends if you do what I command you

*We need to be obedient and ready for every good work-

Titus 3:1
Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,

*We are slaves of obedience which leads to righteousness.

Romans 6:16
Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?

PRAYER

1 John 3:22
And whatever we ask we receive from him, -----------because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.

*He will only answer our prayers if we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.

SPEECH

Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Colossians 4:6
Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

Matthew 15:11
It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.”

Proverbs 15:1-
A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouths of fools pour out folly.

Ephesians 5:4
Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.

Matthew 12:36
I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak,

So the difference between your view and some others is this

You believe obedience (in the form of doing good works) is necessary for salvation.

Others believe that the only obedience that is necessary for salvation is to obey God in resting from your works and trusting in the finished works of Jesus.

You may not share that view, you have the right to your own views. But surely you don't find it that difficult to understand the other side?
Jesus said His command is not burdensome; i mean, He had to say that several times but still some think that we have to rest from His command?! The command to love one another is not even a burden at all. Trusting in the finished works of Jesus basically means to obey His commands which are not burdensome.
We don't obey so that we get saved but we obey so that we abide in salvation (Him) which came for everyone.
