One truth doesnt apply to all. OSAS have a different truth to those who dont believe in OSAS because we don't have the same view of the bible. So ONE truth isnt really one truth to everyone. Both you and I have different beliefs on what the "truth" is.
Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE and He is in us and we are in Him ........and we are eternally secure in that relationship to those who have believed upon Him for the free gift of salvation based completely upon His work not ours.:)

If you stop reading that material you may have your eyes opened to the real Gospel that is not by works!!

I find more comfort in the truth I found. Than when I was in OSAS. Because I dont feel under condemnation anymore. Because I know while living a lifestyle against Gods commands, I was condemned by just reading the bible. When I read the bible, now I dont feel condemned. I feel condemned by the bible when I am practicing sin and living against Gods commands. So I know this is the "truth" and the real or the real version of christianity.

UnderGrace by what I have seen on this site, i think i am scared away from OSAS for good. Because I think "good works" are important. I honestly don't think I can act any way I want and go to heaven. Because when I act badly and let my flesh out people will surely run from me. I dont believe I can live according to my sinful👹 side and be saved in the end.. because God surely wont get glorified...

The most important thing is love for others. The one who loves has known God and trusts in God and Has Faith in God.

A famous example:

Luke 19:
5When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” 6So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.

7All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.”

8But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.”

9Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Salvation came to Zacchaeus because he changed his heart towards others and this is faith, not the other popular kind being taught today.

You misunderstand Ms. Nat.. we are talking about the point of salvation. Salvation is not a process, it is being born from above.
You cannot receive eternal life at all if you think you can earn it.
You are confusing discipleship/Christian walk with salvation and that is causing error in your understanding.

Does a man have any role to play at this point of salvation?

True, yes he was willing to help the poor and correct his cheating, but Zacchaeus also welcomed Jesus into his house....
So Zacchaeus-
*Welcomed Jesus and allowed him to stay at his house.
*Was willing to feed the poor
*Was willing to correct his cheating towards others by giving 4 times back.

So I think all things were combined as well as accepting Jesus in to his home and welcoming him.

Yes "true faith" helps others Just like the definition in James.

UnderGrace you dont need to worry about me, I am very strong now in what I believe and have done alot of study on this subject biblically. Salvation is a hope yet to be reaped, its written in scripture...

There was good news for me finding this site. So i believe there will be for others as well. It has taught me what it means to live like a true Christian. I have finally found what true Christianity means. I know it probably doesn't make sense to you why someone would want to believe or follow these kinds of beliefs. But if you were in my shoes you would understand😉.
Thats great

but if one does not know how to become a true christion, knowing how to be one does not much matter,

what good is it to play one if your not one

If you do not feel condemned while in a state of not knowing you have eternal life something is wrong

Then you do not know osas

osas teaches that good works follow believers,

thus good works are never a question To a person who believes in eternal security

you must have me on ignore, so be it, i feel sorry for you

Being born again now is a totally different subject than actually being saved right now... We are not saved yet, we are not in heaven now. We are born again now with the holy spirit. At the end of lives we will find out if we are saved. But we have hope and the bible tells us to have hope of eternal life now.

it can never be earned, by any means, so it is not a reward To be reaped, it is a gift to be recieved

1. Zacchaeus did not plan to welcome Jesus rather Jesus told Him what would happen, something like "today we will have dinner at your place.."

2. The change of heart that Zacchaeus had was about others and that was counted as righteousness to him and his household
3. Zacchaeus story differs sharply from the kind of faith that people teach today.

Looking at the kind of faith that is taught today:
1.Can we say Zacc trusted in Christ for his salvation?
2.Can we say Zacc believed in Christ for his salvation?
3.Can we say Zacc had Faith in Christ?
4. Can we say Zacc believed in atoning work Christ was yet do accomplish?

The answer is yes but not in the same manner that is being taught today; rather by loving others, Zacch had fulfilled all the requirements.

Truth is truth; your acknowledging it or not does not alter the essence of its truthfulness.

I still have Gods grace and love😊. Gods grace trains me to renounce ungodliness and he sent his son to die for my sins to set me free from them. So this love already. I don't see grace as a "cover" for my sins.
