That was John's baptism (not identical with Christian baptism). Christian baptism is for the whole world AFTER they believe on Christ.
There was a one year extension of the offer of the kingdom, to the Jews, after Christ rose again, as explained by Jesus in the parable of the barren fig tree Luke 13:6-9

In acts 1:5 there is a clear difference between water baptism and spiritual baptism, when Matthew and Mark speak of being baptized I don’t think it’s with water but the Holy Ghost.

For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

On a side note Ive seen some modern churches make huge events of this with baptism baths that are worth more than my house I live in.

Yes, I believe under the gospel of grace preached by Paul, the moment you put your faith in Jesus's death burial and resurrection, you are automatically baptized with the Holy Spirit.

No separate dunking by water is required.

In John 3:25 the priesthood is changed from the Levite men to all the nations of the world. . . . men and women alike . Sort of like changing the guard making the work of getting the gospel out, "world wide " The time period when there was kings in Israel. That pagan form of government had come to a end ..

John the last Levite after the old order before the time of reformation .The subject matter in the discussion of John 3:25 . Why is Jesus is of the tribe of Judah baptizing as a ceremonial sign or shadow. He was the fulfilment of the shadow

Jesus from the tribe of Judah introduced the new manner after Melchedik, a high priest continually . without mother or father beginning of Spirit life or end of it.

Psalm 110:3-5 King James Version (KJV) Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

Hebrews 5:6As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 5:10Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 6:2Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 7:1-3 King James Version (KJV) For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

I’ve been reading up on Matthew 28:19 from what I’ve read in the current form of the passage and It doesn't appear that way in any manuscript of Matthew before the third century A.D if it was original then how come all these only mentions one.

Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 8:12 “But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Acts 8:16 “For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts 10:48 “And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Acts 19:5 “When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts 22:16 “And now why tarriest you? arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Romans 6:3 “Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

1 Corinthians 1:13 “Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

Galatians 3:27 “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

If you add up all of it, then there would be quite a bit of things to do, first believe then get baptized by spirit then water baptized or is it water then spirit how would one know which comes first the water or spirit

The water seen the temporal represents the unseen spirit eternal .Water seen evaporates eternal Spirit does not.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

There is actually one thing a person can do (non effective) if they are believers. They can request as an old testament ceremonial law to be identified as a new priest. The Holy Spirit baptism as a purifying unseen work performed in them as a labor of His love is the baptism of the unseen Holy Spirit pouring out His own Spirit on corrupted flesh. According to His good desire giving us the power to finish it.

For it is
God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings Philipians 2:13-14

You have to first understand how to distinguish between the gospel of the kingdom, which was for the Jews only, and the gospel of the grace of God which is now for all

Hmm interesting, so if the verse is original which I’m not completely sure it isn’t the original, but would it be for the Jews and later Paul teaches the way to the Father is through the Son as in why only Jesus name was mentioned and not the Father the Son and Holy Spirit.

Are you referring to the last few verses of mark that some Christians believe was not inspired by the Holy Spirit?

Changed it to conform to their own name to their own shame. Gave it to Peter. The Jews on the other side of the reformation gave it to fleshly Abraham .Same principle. Different name for the father that the pew sitters allow to lord it over others, faith .(daysman)

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Mathew 7:22-23

Salvation is the work of two working together in perfect harmony to each other The father, the loving authority , the greater position and The Son the lower position whose desire is to do the will of a loving father.

Right I understand though like I mentioned Jesus says in Matthew 28:19 go and baptize in all three yet in acts where baptism is mentioned there’s only one mentioned. It sounds a little contradictory

I have other questions too why does only the Father knows when the Son comes back why is that, why did Jesus not know the woman had touched His garment only that power had gone out from Him yet saw Nathanael under a fig tree before he saw Nathanael with His physical eyes, why are things hidden from Him?

I Guess most of us don’t have a problem because many Churches teach the trinity

I know but the verse says what it says in the name of all three yet in acts it’s not mentioned as such that is what I scratch my head on.

Where do you come up with these strange ideas? Christ's ministry to Israel was for approximately 3 1/2 years, which accommodates this parable. But this has nothing to do with CHRISTIAN BAPTISM. And John's baptism was at the beginning of Christ's ministry. Shortly thereafter John was beheaded.

Ever since the resurrection of Christ, believer's baptism has remained a COMMANDMENT of Christ.

That is not correct The " In my name" is talking about the Authority by which they preach and were baptizing . Baptism in water was done well before the catholic church aka RCC
