FYI...Casting out demons IS healing. Consider the Gadarene demoniac. When Jesus cast out the demons, he was HEALED! Scripture tells us that Jesus went about casting out demons AND healing the sick. One leads to the other. There is no healing with out the casting out of demons and there is no casting out of demons that does not bring healing.
Maggie
So if I break my arm and Yeshua walks up to me and heals it, I must have some demon that needs casting out?

Faith is one thing but some people need to reread wut they say and actually base it on something.

There will always be difficulties in the world. The why, there can be many reasons and you could find out why or you could exaust youself trying to know why. Jesus has shown me that it is more about how and what. How we live in faith with it. Then what we do with it. God said it is in your weaknesses that I am glorified. I believe by this word he is telling us that no matter the affliction he will give us what we need to have victory in it . Or he will bring healing. It is in Jesus that we have the faith, hope and love of Our Lord God to succeed despite our afflictions . I know we have heard this said many times and feel like, yeah, right, but where is my help in God. I felt this so many times myself . The word of Our lord God is true, and I see and now know this victory in my life. Trust in Our Lord God, he will keep his promises. God bless, pickles

Hon, I'm not trying to be mean, but do you have a spell check or something you could use before posting? I'm not entirely sure if this is what you are trying to ask, but did you ask what my grandparent thought when they started experiencing them?

To tell you the truth, my grandma just killed herself because of her problems, especially since she was using illegal drugs to deal with the anxiety, and my mom deals with panic by being an alcoholic. Don't follow in their footsteps.
Harley ... im so sorry , i admire your strength

So if I break my arm and Yeshua walks up to me and heals it, I must have some demon that needs casting out? What evil spirit orchestrated that you would have the accident? GOD??? Hardly!! Nothing is Coincidental. The spirit of trauma can attack and attach itself to a person (it needs a home, remember?) and then, yes, the person would and SHOULD command it to leave.

...right. I got it. So if I fall and break my arm, I'm possessed by an evil spirit.

That's what you're saying, right?

You really love to argue, don't you? I have NEVER said a believe was possessed. OPpressed, possibly. Believers are POssessed by HOLY SPIRIT and Him alone.

personally i believe everything good comes from God and everything bad comes from satan with Gods permission. so seeing as a panic attack is bad its most probably satan. im not going to try give you a 5 step plan for healing or tell you what to say or give you a formula to make it go away, cos i dont know anything bout that stuff. however all i can do is say pray for healing and ill pray for you too, and if it comes it comes if it doesnt it doesnt. but keep in mind God isnt mean he wouldnt do this, and he only let satan do it for a reason. Keep the love :D *hugs*
I think this train of thought is inaccurate. Everything good comes from God but I most certainly dont think GOD permits satan EVERYTHING bad. God gave US free will and it is us who permits Satan, not God who permits satan. There is biblical reference where God gives satan license ie: Job but as a rule I think that it is Satan taking advantage of Gods gift of free will and putting bad thoughts in our head when we are feeling our lowest spiritually.

Three causes of psychological issues are Guilt, Fear and Ingratitude.
Jesus died on the cross for your guilt and your fear.
Make sure you have nothing left to confess.
Feed on the Word of God with sound Bible teaching.
Make your thinking rule your feelings.

Do not get conned into letting your feelings guide your thinking.

Depend on God.
Any time you are panicking or fearful you are NOT leaning on God. Male a choice.

Even Paul had some affliction that God did not relieve. I do not believe that God is punishing you, but their are many reasons why bad things happen to good people. As for what to do--pray for healing and trust God. Keep seeing the doctor and share with him your desire to get off medicine. God's healing will not disappear under the scrutiny of a doctor.

Panic attacks come from fear. God says have no fear. Ask God to help you and know that he can help you. I used to have those attacks. There terrible. Now I have learned. I'm not bothered by them at all. Jesus can set you free from all that.

Thats terrific that you have overcome them. You must have tremendous faith in God. I have begged God for many years to take my panic attacks from me, and he continues to say no or wait. But he certainy doesnt say yes. I never used to take medication. For the last ten years they have been so bad I have to take medication just to function. And now guess what, the medication wont even work.

I have begged God to set me free, to take me to Heaven, to at least help me understand WHY if he is going to continue to allow me to have panic attacks. And I still get, no or wait as his answer.

If I sound frustrated, I am. If I sound sad, fearful, lost, and very depressed, well I am that as well.

Prayer is all I have left anymore.

suppose if you've never had anxiety you wouldnt understand it really, i never used to. The Lord blessed me with a bout of depression anxiety & midnight panic that I might understand what my best friend was going through. I used to think just suck it up and get on with living. sing a happy song... all that jazz. Now I know there is more than that & thankfully my problems were situational & the anxiety was due to the antidepressants. I am thankful though to now understand. I will be praying for you Debbie for the calm that surpasses understanding and can only be from the Lord to overwhelm you when you are anxious.

It is the goodness of God that has given us a love that goes beyond knowledge / Eph 3:19, A peace that passes all understanding / Phil 4:17 and a joy unspeakable a full of glory / 1Pt 1:8. These are the first fruit of the Spirit / Gal 5:22. Against these there is no law / Gal 5:23 because we received them by the Spirit of Life and have not obtained them by the works of the law. We have these when we are filled with the Spirit and we are filled with the Spirit through the hearing of faith / Gal 3:2,5.

It is an easy thing to be filled with the Spirit. There is no striving to obtain, just hearing the word of God that produces faith will fill us with the activity and fruit of the Holy Spirit. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, love casts out all fear because there is no fear in love / 1Jn 4:18. Joy will fill us and take over our capacity to respond to situations and circumstances that have created havoc in our life / Jn 15:11, 16:24, 1Jn 1:4. The peace of God will take control of our mind so that we can have God's thoughts in the details of life / Is 26:3, Jer 29:11.

Ps 119:165 'Great peace have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble'.

When we allow the word of God to enter into our heart, fear can not enter in and offend by paralyzing the emotions and making us stumble. Anxiety and depression can not control us through the thoughts of the mind because God's thoughts are there which are thoughts of peace. We must put ourselves in a place to continually hear the word of God that is able to build us up / Acts 20:32 and give us great peace. Love casts out fear and all that offends us. Joy fills us up to replace what love has cast out. We are kept in perfect peace because our mind is stayed upon the Lord and upon His goodness through His word / Is 26:3, Ps 119:165.

Maybe you could pray that God could help me to get out of bed each day. Because I dont seem to be able to do that anymore. And my psychiatrist doesnt seem to want to change or add to my medication. So I am just a little bit stuck.
