Peter ... you cannot support your accusations that I said all legalists are evil and should be thrown out of the church ( as I have said..we all have some sort of a Pharisee in us so we would have no church left if we threw ourselves out of it )

I am asking you kindly to please stop as it serves no real purpose and it could get you in trouble with the administration here if you persist. I do not want that to happen to you.

I am glad he denies his desire to root out legalists and the jezebel spirit. For me I am not trying smear people just share how they have shared in the past. The problem is over time to last the long haul we have to be consistent.

I sometimes like to take notes of what people said, like the quote I listed above because it stood out as so wrong.
For me it does not matter who said it, but that fact someone held that view.

It is also interesting how some use the attack dogs while staying above the battle and then claiming they where not part of it. Grace7x77 falls into such a group. Many have lost their cool and blasted away. But then this is the battle we are in.

So I just say amen, let the truth roll on, and I do not lie. If you have to ask me to prove it, then unfortunately that often speaks of a double minded man. One cc member did that to me and went totally ape. What spoke to me was over the past year they slowly have come round to my position, though they still think I am totally evil etc. It teaches me a lot about the mentality of many and how things are not what they appear or why.

This is after all only a short posting forum, and often people do not change or grow much in sharing this way.

I wrote to the pastor, and he is still preaching on the same platform as these guys.

That I don't understand either. It's like they can't discern it themselves. I know some real good preachers, when one preached, wow, I saw Jesus on the screen while he was on it, yet he's in a meeting with others I don't want to listen to. They just invite anyone. There is little discernment. A real good church I used to attend that had a lot of guest speakers invited Joshua Mills. That had just nothing to do with God, one nonsense story after the other, his son slew on a rock on a holiday and water came out and the worship was lalalalalala. They have absolutely no idea. It's all good. So I just don't go to the good ones either anymore. If there is so little discernment, why should I go there? One day the good preacher preaches and the next day a total heretic with angel feathers, out of body nonsense. Weird.

It seems that lately just about every thread that can be twisted into a law vs. grace debate has been and invariably the users complaining the loudest about the debate are the ones who took it there in the first place.

I can close threads all day long until these two factions decide that they are going to play together nicely because it is completely impossible to trace this ridiculous bickering to it's roots.
