So let me get this straight...

The end justify the means. That gem is from Penn. He said Trump could have "character flaws" as long as Penn got what he wanted. Like 9 years of tax cuts which will total around 36,000 dollars. Trump alone will make around 1.5 billion the first year alone. His tax break is permanent. Yours isn't. Do you really think that's coincidental? And as for all those big businesses bringing jobs back to America... Every those companies Trump supposedly made deals with, they kept some workers. But they laid off the majority of them. Coal is failing, so is steel. Those big businesses aren't going to suddenly open more factories and produce products! CEOs have been polled and the majority of them said the money was going into the pockets of the shareholders and themselves. They said their workers could live on the wage provided.

Fox News is not news. They applied to be apart of the BBC network of news and didn't qualify. That should say something. Also, Rupurt Murdoch owns Fox. This matters because Reagan made him a US citizen and got rid of the Fairness in Journalism Act. Simply put, by getting rid of the law the press can lie all they want. Murdoch runs Fox News.

The term "Staycation" was invented in 2005. Who was president again? Oh yeah! George W Bush... The banks we're knowingly setting people up who couldn't afford house loans. But what else could they do? They bought too much and were broke. How else were they going to recoup their losses? I remember now my history now! They sell to people who can't truly afford it long term, but in the meantime, they'll get some of the money back.

Trump is against legal immigration too. That is if you're from a country where you might have the wrong skin color. And you know what? Most Christians forget they follow and claim to love a middle eastern Jewish man. He's not the blonde hair, blue eyes, Roman nose portrait we see so often.

Kayla... I may not remember much about Reagan, but I'm 37 years old. I'm able to read and study and comprehend things all on my own. I don't need to be somewhere to know what happened or how it happened. So, feel free to stop mocking.

Trump is only good for one thing: bringing on the apocalypse.
I voted for Reagan in 1980. I can tell you for certain that many things written about Reagan is fake liberal propaganda especially in school textbooks. Every year I go straight to the section about Reagan in my kids school books and it tells me how liberal the bias is of the publishers. Reagan was the best President after Lincoln for this country followed by Coolidge. What the Great Depression did to the country Reagan was the antithesis to it. If I were you I wouldn't swallow what you have read about Reagan hook, line, and sinker. I guess I am so hard on Trump is because Reagan was such a shinning example of what makes America great again. He made real permanent tax cuts for everyone. He never talked about classes nor disparage the rich. We had the largest economic boom in the history of the world that lasted until George Bush who ruined it with "read my lips" and raised taxes which killed the Reagan boom even though it was able to last through the Clinton presidency.

oh no. say it ain't so.

who are you going to diss next? Halle Barry?

for such a fan of Obama, you obviously have not read his book

read the book. he talks about his whiter than white mom in the book

so really, he was a mixed race President who chose to use the black side of his dna in order to sow discord

just think! he could have done so much good had he reminded everyone he was both black and white!

but no...he is actually the one who played the race card over and over and here you are doing it for him

that, is what you call divisive and using black people. he USED their color when he is not even really black
Actually by claiming to be black it really works against him.
Proves the black race had nobody to lead them.
.....just hurt their race, their cause, and their future.
What a horrible legacy on Obama.

I think you mock yourself with listening and watching the main stream media. The way you lean is so far left, if you lean any further you'll bruise your head....along with your ego. You forget something.....Trump did this not going in for the money...he's got plenty of that.....he's doing this for the true hard working Americans who actually pay taxes and are sick and tired of the rhetoric you people only seem to be focused on. You tout the same bull day in and day out, year after year, and you know what, we got tired of it and we voted. So you can cry....but guess what, you cry alone, because i'm thankful to the Lord he stepped in and put Trump in over your failed liar of a candidate Hilary Clinton.

I stand by what I said

Obama had a great opp to represent the entire country, but that was not mr community organizer's agenda...or I should say the agenda of those who put him there (I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but the whole Obama thing could make a person a believer...and now the memo...)

and yes, it is a horrible legacy :( nobody wins

Penn, I have already put together how politics and Christianity fit together. And if you were paying closer attention you would have picked up that I'm upset and disappointed Christianity voted for Trump. Oh, and there's no need to mansplain things to me.

Kayla, I understand you're upset you did the right thing and it cost you a lot of money. But other people cheated the system and got in free. It's not fair, but you're going to have to get over it. Your anget was a jerkface, that's the way it goes.

It's time for my swan song... I'm not a far leaning left Democrat as all of you want to believe. I didn't vote for Clinton. And I have done a lot of research about both Republicans and Democrats. I know more about Trump and than I ever wanted to. I read both conservative and liberal media because everyone lies. So you have to piece it together yourself.

It worries me, in fact it scares me, that Christians can't or won't use the discernment God gives us. I understand God put him in office, but just because someone is red doesn't mean he or she is a Godly candidate.

There's no need to respond to this, btw. I won't be coming back to the thread. But I will say this. People are leaving the church in droves because they think we're all like Trump, that we're all like Paul Ryan, or Moore, or Jeff Sessions, or McConnell. Unfortunately this thread hasn't proven them wrong.

People leaving the church in droves has nothing to do with Trump
or politics. That is a far more sinister story involving evil in high
places and the kingdom of darkness [and no it is not Washington].

I read a lot of stuff about how Trump is the man for our times, but
I don't remember Donald being described or upheld as a Godly man.
Far from it.

For all that you've posted as a Christian you seem amazed that a
forgotten population of unemployed and poor deplorables would
vote for a candidate that spoke directly to them and offered them hope.

I notice you have not criticized the alternative flawed person in all this,
Hillary Clinton. Corrupt. A liar. A self-serving politician of the most
unsavoury kind. A multi-millionaire who increased her wealth (and Bill's)
by selling foreign policy favours for cash. And would continue to impoverish
millions of Americans through her international one world government policies.

As a Christian are you saying that you prefer this ungodly women because
what? She represents a more noble politics? It was her turn?
She wasn't as sinful as Trump?

You do not understand the corruption of the world and all politics.
There are no good and evil choices. No one is going to save the world.
Obama found it all too hard and went to Cuba for at least some small
symbolic example of doing "great" things.

As much as I like Trump over Hillary in the end it does not matter.
God has a plan for this world. You can as a Christian read it in your
Bible. Who is in Washington is a useful puppet for what is coming and
the armies of the whole world gathering against Jerusalem.

A pro-Jerusalem President is what God needs.
Don't worry about Washington or Moscow keep your eyes on Syria
and Israel. That's where the action will be!

Anyway, what about your salvation?

Yes Kayla. Just because you obeyed and respected the laws of the land, it doesn't mean that everybody has to .. or should be required to. As has been explained to you, this is how Christianity and politics works. Now get over it. That's just the way it goes. Next time check with me first. I might know a way to circumvent the system.

I didn't start mocking, you started that. And yes,Im sure you're able to read and study. But a lot of historians, biographers, and those who know the inner workings of gov't would disagree with you. I'm guessing their study would be slightly more in depth than yours. You're free to give your opinion but lets not pretend its anything more than that.

People are so ridiculous. I had Christian friends tell me that Obama was the anti-Christ. I didn't like Obama's policies, disagreed with him on just about everything but when people said that to me I'd always say "don't be ridiculous"! I've never seen an age where people were so over dramatic as they are today.smh

Hey Aimee, you forgot to throw in the Westboro clan in trying to attack us! And guess what? YOU don't get to dictate whether someone responds to your post or not. You're going to read our replies. Please don't try and fool us into thinking otherwise. Whether you actually contemplate, see if maybe they actually have merit, and respond in a cogent, civil, and hopefully conciliatory way is up to you.

"Mansplaining"? Yeah, that's a SJW fascist bully tactic term that doesn't work with those that have been taught to critically think, instead of being immersed in an indoctrinated education. I NEVER mentioned gender at ALL in my posts. If you feel inferior because of your gender I'm truly sorry about that, but that's on you.

NO ONE here voted for Trump because we see him as some kind of a savior! VOTING is ALWAYS a matter of the lesser of 2 evils. And I mean that in the sense that not a single politician has exactly my position on a whole host of issues, not that Trump is evil. But until Jesus Christ comes back and rules, MANKIND is what we got. So the candidate that is most closely going to follow the Constitution, the document brilliantly devised to limit human power and corruption, is the candidate we should vote for.

I ask that you would reconsider, and at least entertain the possibility that you have in fact been indoctrinated. I know that sounds offensive and condescending, but I absolutely do not intend it to be.
But if you don't respond, I also genuinely wish for God's Blessings for you and yours.

BTW, it was not Kayla who had the bad border crossing, it was me and the only reason I mentioned it all, is because of your inability to see what is really going on. Kim Kardashian is much wealthier than Stephen hawking. Does that mean in your mind she must be smarter than he is?

- Trump was given almost eight million from his father in today's dollars to get started.
- He has been bankrupt countless times, no U.S. bank will lend him money.
- Some of his own people have called him an idiot.
- He get's his daily briefings in single page picture format because he doesn't like to read.
- His vocabulary is grade school.
- He won because he appealed to white nationalists, xenophobic populists and most of all to the people in coal country and the rust belt who have been unemployed and left behind by everyone. It also helped that the DNC ran the one person who could lose to him. (She still won the popular vote by three million).

Maybe perhaps he is smarter than you, but that doesn't mean he is a smart person. A ten year old is measurably more intelligent than a three year old. They both still don't know anything. I don't know if you're smart, or what motivates you to support horrible people. Perhaps you don't understand what's going on. Perhaps you are one of the groups I listed. Perhaps you are just obsessed with winning against "the other side" and will defend horrible people as long as they're on the same team.

Smarter than? No. But it sure doesn't make her stupid, which was what your argument was with Trump. She knows her audience.I can't stand her,but she has some brains in there somewhere.

- Trump was given almost eight million from his father in today's dollars to get started.
- He has been bankrupt countless times, no U.S. bank will lend him money.

So lots of people inherited money to get started and are bums today. People win huge lotteries and are broke today. And second care to guess how many billionaires, rich people have had more than one bankruptcies? Because Ive checked and its a lot more than you'd think. Not sure about the facts behind your whole comment there.

- Some of his own people have called him an idiot.
People are entitled to their own opinion, doesn't make them right. He's had plenty of success so as I said, that takes at least a modicum of intelligence.

- He get's his daily briefings in single page picture format because he doesn't like to read.
Annnnd your non biased source for this fact is....?

- His vocabulary is grade school.
Oh you mean like Dem leaders recently dropping F-bombs.Or Hillary thanking her "activist bi%^&es"?!

- He won because he appealed to white nationalists, xenophobic populists and most of all to the people in coal country and the rust belt ...

Wow! So you know them all personally do you?! Thats a pretty big brush you're using there, generalize much? Canada has its own issues concerning who is in office, maybe you need to look after that.

who have been unemployed and left behind by everyone
Well there's one thing we can agree on.

(She still won the popular vote by three million)
Pssst it still doesn't matter, she lost.;)

Maybe perhaps he is smarter than you, but that doesn't mean he is a smart person.

Perhaps you'd like to share what you do for living, what you have in your bank account, what kind of house you live in and where your intelligence has taken you in life.Just sayin.

I don't know if you're smart
I'm smart enough to recognize intelligence in other people.Whether I agree with them or not has no bearing on it.

or what motivates you to support horrible people

Hillary supports abortion at any point in a pregnancy,I consider her more horrible. We won't even get into the skeletons in her closet.

Perhaps you don't understand what's going on.

Well since I live here and you don't I'd say I have a better grasp on the situation.

Perhaps you are one of the groups I listed.

You mean a deplorable?!

Perhaps you are just obsessed with winning against "the other side" and will defend horrible people as long as they're on the same team.

We'll see how it all comes out in the end. With memos coming out by the hour we'll see who is "horrible" in the end. I wouldn't count my chickens just yet.

Every executive order Trump touted will just be undone by the next liberal president. He needs to get Congress to pass laws to bring our national debt and budget back under control by reducing the executive agencies and entitlement programs or you can kiss the USA goodbye forever.
This is a totally separate issue from the actual SOTU speech. There is only one way to describe it and that is OUTSTANDING AND TREMENDOUS. Let's give credit where credit is due. Here is a President who is being undermined by all sides, and yet he was able to fulfil multiple promises. Not one of the preceding presidents after Reagan did what they were appointed to do. They all undermined the Constitution and America.
