A Two State "Solution" is not a solution, it's simply a whole new problem.

If this be One Nation under God then let it be One Nation. If it is not then let the Rock fall upon it and grind it into dust.
Sorry, but to me that sounds like a "defeatist" attitude............

Are there Biblical examples of what I am proposing.........I can't think of any right now...........

God did not say we were to always remain "One Nation Under God" did He? I don't remember that............and given the current state of things...............in my opinion, we STOPPED being One Nation Under God a very long time ago........

A Two State Theory is tearing the nation in two, very literally. And yes there will be violence on an epic scale if you attempt such a thing. This has all ready been tried before.
.........goodness.........ok, you need to voice your dissent/concerns.............but even then, it seems to me you lack the understanding of what I am proposing...........Still this discussion........WERE IT TO EVER BECOME A REALITY........must include all opinions...........so thanks.

However, I fully disagree that violent discourse would be a MUST..............

If we stopped being One Nation under God, then let God destroy this nation as He wills.

How do you know that it IS NOT Gods WILL that the Church join with like minded individuals to start anew......with Him as the Chief Cornerstone?

Should the Jews have remained in Egypt?

Should they have remained in the wilderness?

Did God lead them through many trials and tribulations?

How do you know that God would not approve of my thesis?

1. This Nation was foudned as One Nation udner God. If you try to divide it in two you are effectively thumbing your nose at God. Only if the State removes God from its foundations may you rebel.

2. The Jews did not own the Nation of Egypt, they were there as refugees and should have been permitted to leave at any time, though the Pharoah did not allow this God made it happen.

3. You will notice the Jews were forced to wander the wilderness for their iniquities.

4. Yes God leads the righteous through trials and tribulations. We are called to endure not to become insurrectionists.

5. Because you are advocating the abrogation of all of the Christian principles this nation was founded upon by advocating secessionism. We are called to adhere to the law, even if the law is unjust, that we may be found blameless.

Given your responses, I have two options to consider:

1) You did not read the OP in it's entirety
2) You did not understand the OP in it's entirety

If you identify which, I will try to explain further.............

Point One.............Founded by men............and maybe blessed by God..........however, are we STILL One Nation under God?
Point Two............Who OWNS the US? Do you believe citizens ACTUALLY OWN the land they paid for?
Point Three.........Yes, however, God LED them to the land of milk and honey did He not?
Point Four...........Never suggested insurrection......again you over state/misunderstand
Point Five...........I have advocated no such thing.........

I HAVE SUGGESTED/PROPOSED A LAWFUL DEBATE TO BEGIN THE DISCUSSION OF A TWO STATE SOLUTION.

(don't see why you can not grasp that)

I don't want to live in either a libertarian paradise or a socialist paradise. Maybe there could be a third state for everyone else.

I agree the left would never peacefully allow a division resulting in freedom for those who desire it, therefore it would be very violent, however the alternative is a fully implemented socialist system which we KNOW will result in untold murder, virtual slavery, and misery.

Ok. let me TRY ONCE MORE...........sigh...........I am not advocating, nor do I wish "violent separation" of States!!!!!!!!!

I am proposing that ALL AMERICANS open up a Legal, peaceful, reasonable DEBATE/DISCUSSION concerning a Two State Solution to resolve the divide that tears our Nation apart............

It would HAVE TO BE an AGREED UPON solution............approved by the People.........

If the majority of folks say "No," then the answer is no...........that simple........

(hopefully that will end this idea of a violent overthrow or whatever.............)

Just out of curiosity, what would a two state America look like in your eyes? Where would the dividing line be?

Sign me up for that! Problem is it's pure fantasy. You really believe the takers in society who put people like Barack Obama in office would peacefully give up their socialist utopian dream, and allow decent, hard working Americans the choice to freely keep their earnings?

Fantasy? Possibly.............HOWEVER, lest we forget "with God ALL things are possible............." :) just saying.......

AND, can we be COMPLETELY SURE that those you speak of WOULD NOT BE VERY HAPPY to get RID OF US?

they need us too bad for financial reasons. They're like a petulant child who's daddy or mommy takes care of everything for them while they massage their compulsive childish behavior.

the Original Intent of the Founding Fathers who wrote The Constitution is that States would be Sovereign ........... however, given the Constitutional Power Grab by the Federal Government for the last 60 years...........this is really no longer the case in my opinion...........and I think recent events have proved that out.............
Depends on if one submits to Common Law which is supreme law of the land,
or judicial law which often tries to contradict Supreme Law.
There are two powers and authorities at hand.
A law which contradicts Supreme Law of the land can be deemed not an actual law and is one you are immune to.
If one has not signed their rights away to be subject to having them become privileges you are still a Free Person under the laws of life liberty and pursuit of happiness and those wishing to infiltrate those rights are subject to your own authority endowed by your creator, but one must exercise that authority to an enemy in order to have that authority.
Whichever one of the two a person chooses to submit to is the one a person is exercising and upholding.
Our forefathers had divine insight to prepare us.

THESE are the people you are expecting to have a rational, informed conversation with?

.......sorry Brother......I missed this one..........sigh.......just didn't follow your line of reasoning.........BUT I will say that while many believe the Founding Fathers were "divinely inspired," I would use caution when stating such........Given what was included in the Constitution in it's original draft............well, maybe not so much....... :)

Not saying that there were not many members of the Founding Fathers that were believers, but there were surely some who were not............
