Don't ever say this to me :p
Oh, but we do in many spiritual things! :p

We both are adamant pro-lifers who fight for the 2nd amendment! :D More importantly, we both believe Christ is our Lord and Saviour. We're more alike than we are different. We just discuss the differences so often times we might think we're quite polar opposites.

Sanders has won 2 of three states so far today. Alaska & Washington.

Interestingly, there is little election coverage on any network, with the exception of the results bar on the bottom of the screen.

Not sure why the Democrats chose to have a primary on Resurrection Sunday eve.
The Democrats rigged this entire Democratic primary in favor of Hillary.

If Hillary thinks she will get my absentee ballot vote when/if she defeats Sanders, she has another thing coming. There isn't a thing she can do to make me vote for her.

Even birds love Bernie! You are quite correct Kim! Grandfather Sanders has a good heart, but there is no way possible he could ever get what he wants passed. If he did we would end up like Cuba. But I respect those who like him!

I'm a fan of fecal critique. I'm guessing the bird left one on the podium for Bernie.

by all accounts it didn't. it stayed for a moment, got its photo taken, and having made it's little birdie point, flew off.

Not keeping up with all these political threads, but I'm curious to know, would you be voting Sanders if he was the Democratic nominee?

Absolutely! He is my candidate. If not Sanders, then I'm hoping Cruz.

Again, out of interest, how do you square that with being a Christian? I mean, you don't have to justify yourself to me, I'm just wondering. I think Sanders is a decent guy, who seems to believe in what he says, but as a Christian, surely that isn't enough? Wouldn't almost any Republican candidate be better than a pro-abortion socialist? Trump being the exception, although I honestly believe that Trump would be better, not as a candidate, but as a potential catalyst for serious change, revolution almost. Love to hear your thoughts. I have no dog in this race, btw, as I'm not American. :)

It doesn't register in my mind when a person's first candidate is of one party and second choice is from another party.

BUT, maybe I can get a better idea of how that's possible. I started a new thread designed to focus on the
issues. Maybe that will be revealing.

There are two major issues I disagree with Bernie on: abortion and 2nd amendment.

Fortunately, the executive branch has no power to change the Supreme court's ruling. The judiciary is it's own branch of government.

His insight over the last 30 years has shown to be spot on, in both domestic and international affairs. I highlighted the reasons why I love him on the first page of this thread (and many other threads).

It's funny because it doesn't register in my mind why people vote for party first. If Satan was the Republican nomination, you'd vote for him?

I vote for candidates, not party. I look at an individual's resume and have to do my best to discern which candidate is trustworthy and knowledgeable enough to lead the United States.

I hope no one reading this has a pacemaker, but . . .

I listened to Sanders several times. He actually is an endearing person who intentions seem to be good, however, socialism is tyrannical in nature regardless of those select few socialists who's intentions are actually good. I'm voting against the democratic ticket regardless of who's on that ticket.

It's funny because it doesn't register in my mind why people vote for party first. Ask someone who does.

If Satan was the Republican nomination, you'd vote for him? Only if he was more Conservative than the competition.

I vote for candidates, not party. I am a Conservative. I vote for the most Conservative candid that has a chance to win and/or against the most Liberal candid there is.
