I once knew someone who used 7, but 11 pillows, I don't even...

So, I have an Eastern King Tempurpedic bed and it's HUGE...I feel so lost sleeping in the middle, but if I surround myself with pillows I feel more secure and can simply flip and have pillows to cuddle. YES I't is a lot...but hey I sleep alone and 2 pillows on the huge bed just had me turning circles...like where do I sleep!!! AHHHH!!! :D

I have heard of California Kings, but not the Eastern King.. Are they even larger? I guess if it's a bed to yourself, i would probably make a barrier around me in pillows so I don't roll too far to one side or the other... It's like being nestled in a bed of pillows!

Eastern King is a NORMAL king size bed. A California King is longer and not as wide. Sorry years of living in so many states that I just distinguish things a tad differently. I think it was the years living in California!

Lol I do that too. I've slept on the left side for so long that I'm too used to it to change.

Wow, you two both sound super-polite and considerate (giving space to a possible future someone who isn't even there yet.)

Not me!!! I hog the WHOLE bed and use 4 big, fluffy pillows on every side, and SMACK DAB in the middle. I'm greedy when it comes to sleeping space. I'm kind of an insomniac and I tend to switch from side to side a lot.

If I ever got remarried again, we would probably have to upgrade to a king size just to make room for the poor guy (and to give him space so that I don't turn him black-and-blue with all my tossing and turning.)

Jeni,

I read your epic list...

You and I would give new meaning to the term, "Pillow Fight."

Actually... If I got married and I used as many pillows as you do, he'd have to pretty much go a round of Hide'n'Seek because I'm pretty sure I'd be swallowed whole by such a gargantuan number of pillows

It would be like those old ball pits at places like Chuck E. Cheese, except filled with pillows instead of balls.

I bet your bed is like sleeping on clouds!

Huahuahuahuahua

Same thing here!! The left side is all mine!! :) Not sure why, though... but that's just the way things are... hehehehe

I actually have 3 pillows on my bed... but I use only one... the other two are ceremoniously placed on the other side... they make me uncomfortable...

And I totally agree with you... since we don't do test drives, If I ever get remarried I won't know what kind of sleeper the guys is... so king size it is!! Even though I need a very small space to sleep in, I do need some peace to do it!! I don't like spooning or anyone too close to me... so yeah... the bigger the better so the other person can dance the macarena if he wishes to without hitting me or waking me up...
