Ive heard that the American society is very physical as a whole with dating relationships other than other nationalities in other countries ...we have more rape molestation and sex addictions anywhere from soft porn to violent sex crimes than any of those other countries as well...makes you wonder..

Good point.

I guess it’s a personal choice as some have stated already but what does the Bible say about us being in those situations? (I posted a scripture in my OP).
I read your verse. That is not the only verse that covers this area. though a good point. Man/ woman lusting in their heart is already committed adultery with her.
No one is tempted but what has been tempted by many before you. ( in other words there is nothing anyone can go through, that others have not had to over come)
If you can not abstain from sexual immorality one should marry.
Guard your hearts lest you be tempted too.

Are just a few off the top of my head. Not to mention again it is the one sin you do to yourself.

In times past, a man and woman did not touch each other. A woman covered her face. Look at Isaac and how Rebekah covered her face. When the Heavenly Father instituted marriage. There was no such thang as a marriage certificate. Or even priests marrying them. In Jesus' day there was ceremonies, but we/ or I know of little else. They had witnesses and the Covenant between them and God and laying together becoming one flesh sealed that contract. Also in that time there became Ketubahs because of hardened hearts and women getting ill treated. Usually the woman's family controlled such terms.

Things sure have changed. And not for the better. Though sexual imorallity has been around since the bibles early beginnings. And is one thing the Father has no taste for as it is one of the most talked of sins.

Thats why a lot of women think flitaciously teasing a man is harmless? Guess again..
I would not know as I lack skill to flirt, and I would only flirt to and for my husband. I do find it unfair for a man, for he has far more testosterone therefore is a stronger sexual being. If that is it does not come from his wife.

Think its called "common law" spouses..
In reality on a handful of states recognize common law marriage and those that do have different criteria as to what criteria must be met but most require that a couple present themselves as husband and wife in order for common law to come into play.

Here in Colorado a couple could "live together" for 20 years buy a house and raise a family together and not be common law married or they could live under the same roof for a couple of days and have common law be valid. It all hinges on how they present themselves publicly.

Texas is similar. If you do get mail as Mr. and Mrs so and so. then legally you are common law married.

I have kissed two boys. I regret it. I'm glad it wasn't more than that. Still, I don't wanna do much else besides hold hands until I am married.
But I don't think it's bad for people to kiss before marriage. It's a personal choice. The couple has to decide that themselves.
I just remember watching one of the Duggar girls get married. She said she had never kissed a boy before and so their first kiss was at the altar. I told my friend that I liked that idea and I was sad that I had already kissed two ex boyfriends. She just laughed at me. :p

I think the Duggers are m9re the exception than the rule but striving for purity even with a single day will be blessed! ;)

Yeah, true. I think the Duggar girls are super sweet. They inspire me to be more modest and Godly.

Affection, where do you draw the line?

I don't, I'm not Obama, drawing lines I won't enforce.

I can only say what the Bible says not to do.. And that is not to engage in sexual relations ( fornication ) before marriage..

The Bible does not say thou shalt not huggeth or kisseth thine girlfriend who is not thine wife.. :)

The only ""sin"" that could arise in some minds would be the sexual thoughts that some might be thinking about when they are hugging and kissing their girlfriend ( insert boyfriend here if you are a woman :) ).. But people can be affectionate with thoughts of love while hugging and kissing without being caused to lust over the person they are hugging and kissing..

So if hugging and kissing does not lead one to lust then option B would be my pick.. But if you cannot control yourself and you find yourself lusting simply because you hugged someone then option A is for you..
These thoughts of love are not lust but rather desire. I believe that lusting means to want something badly that you cannot possibly have. Without desire there wouldn't be much of a reason to get married.

You don't remember when Obama declared that if Bashar Assad used chemical weapons, he would have crossed the line, then Assad used chemical weapons, and Obama did nothing?

To be honest, I don’t really keep up with American politics.
