I have to agree about the spicy things. I'm allergic to pain. If I want to deliberately inflict pain on myself, I could just hit my thumb with a hammer or stick a fork in my eye or something.
I am not talking about anything too spicy. You know, like hot mustard on an eggroll, or some medium salsa on some nice chips. Things like that...although I do like lobster fra diavolo which pretty much sets your hair on fire.

HEY!!!

WHAT'S WRONG WITH SETTING YOUR HAIR ON FIRE?!?

Okay.

I finally read the OP.

Well, Jake lost me when he said he does not like spicy food (I like food with a little kick) or seafood, which I absolutely love, but I am right there with him on the meatloaf thing (although I did eat good meatloaf once in my life...my mother's meatloaf was terrible as a child).

Seeing how he likes fishing and sweets, how about a bag of gummy worms...if somebody has not already suggested it?
Put in some dirt cake under them bad Larry's and gram would be proudโค๏ธ Love her dirt cake

I think that I need an interpreter...lol.

I have no idea what a dirt cake is or what bad Larry's are.

It is good to see you back here though.

The worms are bad Larry's and that means they are delicious for sure. Dirt cake is crushed up Oreos with cream cheese and something else mixed in there with a dash of love. I tell you what it is sooooo good.
The worms are placed on top of the cake. The cake is normally in a flower pot for effect lol

Thank youโ˜บ๏ธ. I come and go lol

Wow. This is really interesting to me.

I had a woman once tell me that I was a "bad Penny", so I am thinking that she must have been referring to Larry's lesser known sister. Does that mean that she found me to be delicious too? Gee, I never would have guessed...especially since she threw me headfirst into a wishing well immediately after saying that. Hey, maybe there were no flower pots that were easily accessible at that time. This is all starting to make perfect sense to me now. Thanks. I cannot wait to call my therapist and cancel all of my remaining appointments for rejection counseling.

On a more serious note, it is good to see you back. I thought maybe you were busy cleaning up after the storms in your area. Last Thursday, we had some pretty severe thunderstorms by me, and I had a tree fall from the neighbor's front lawn across the street, and it landed in my driveway, only about 2 feet from my car. For real. Anyhow, welcome back.

No, I had stated that I was called for no reason. I got to my work truck and waited for my guy to show up. He wasn't showing up so I called him to find out I was all set and to go back home. Pray everyone is ok though.

Hey Everyone,

Let's go on a secret mission!

I'll take a break soon so people can catch up with other threads, but I had to post this one while the idea was still fresh! :) Jacob graciously gave his permission to allow me to use his stories as a target, er, I mean, topic, so here we go!

In a previous thread about grandma's and cookies, Jacob said he would tell MY Grandma that I was being bad if I tried to "borrow/taste test/swipe" HIS Grandma's homemade hand pies. :( I can't imagine someone threatening to tattle on them to their OWN GRANDMA, but that wasn't going to stop me from trying to swipe a pile of those pies.

In Mingle Thread #3, we talked about things we WOULDN'T share, and something we WOULD.

Jacob said:

Imagine my immense disappointment. :( However, I saw a glimmer of hope when Jacob followed up with:

I have a confession to make. I'm not very good at cooking or baking. I've tried over the years, but somehow I seem to get everything wrong. Therefore, if I'm going to have a chance at swindling/trading my way into getting some of those delicious homemade backed goods, I need YOUR help/some assistance from the CC audience!

In Mingle Thread #1, Jacob kindly shared some of his interests:

Judging from this list, what sorts of things do you think I can bribe, er, convince Jacob with in order to hand over his Grandmother's goodies?

I'm putting up a poll of suggestions made from this list that people can vote for (multiple votes will be allowed, and we'll be able to see what everyone voted for!)

But be sure to tell us what your own ideas would be, or what you would offer him if it were you.

I'm obviously going to need all the help I can get! o_O

the poll was a tricky one because i was take away by the first answer lol ๐Ÿ˜‚ (sounds about right)

hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ and happy holidays ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ‚

They're really good and easy to make ! You should try to make one !
Are you telling me to eat dirt?

I thought that we were friends...

I am just messing with you.

When it comes to gummy candy, I like the sour ones the best. You know, they kind of match my personality.

:p

Well, they do make sour gummy worms...
you could always make it with them.
Actually, the combo of sweet with sour might be very good.

what kind of fish could you catch with those?
