I have tried elsewhere to seek help. I am asking the users in this forum to trust what I'm saying. I explained my situation, but people only offer me solutons which are not possible. I am asking, and i DONT mean to be offended, that you accept all of these premises as true. I once wanted a female companion. That is long passed. There is no chance of it. I'm in my 30s now.

I need help and I don't need help from people telling me to do things which I cannot do. Please I ask you to accept these immutable premises:

  1. I cannot get married.
  2. I cannot work.
  3. Society is so corrupt its impossible to marry and even if it were it would be an unacceptable risk (metoo), as the likelihood of it destroying my life is high.
  4. I am desperate for a woman's touch. I'm miserable, having no outlet, and pornography is sin.
  5. The above premises are not changeable.
If you are unwilling to accept these premises, then you can't help me. I promise I am telling the truth.
Boy you should have seen what i'v seen the good stuff!,,,but since you sent such premise,,I'm bitter my self more so then you...i know you did not say that you where bitter,,,, i have, even we have seen, what god can do,,,,so i'm mad at him,,,you on the other hand you lack faith i can tell by the limits you set,,,,I hate saying this to you especially if your telling the truth..those that walk in the spirit will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.Fall in love with god.Love is a verb firstly.

My sister is crippled and cannot work though probably not fussed about not marrying or living with sexual desire lol

She did her leg in running the London marathon. I always thought those marathons were a bit too much. Maybe this will force her to REST since she was always on the go before.

Sometimes all it takes is a nice cup of tea and a lie down to cure all ills.

Dear Christian Person,

You may be off Christian Chat and I wouldn't blame you. While some of the posts have been kind, others have not--I was particularly shocked by the one man who posted saying to get castrated--that same man posted elsewhere and is married with adult children living at home. He can't be a Christian that's for sure--unfortunately there are some bad apples on this site.

Even though I am not suffering a handicap, I do find myself putting limitations on myself--one is I think because unconsciously it keeps me safe--taking risks is scary and the other is maybe I don't want to get my hopes up. In any case, I think the best thing is to find someone like yourself who also has a handicap. Get out of the house and get together with others in similar circumstances. In the interim, I don't know if you're able, you could go to a massage therapist or a massage school--there's nothing sexual about that, though you do have to be careful about some places. At least you would have physical touch. Finding some way to work remotely or a place that would support your handicap. Also have you considered volunteering on a prayer line? There is one Somebody Cares in Florida. You could start a new thread here "Looking for others who are suffering a handicap"--something like that.

A prayer for you. "Father, you know what Christian Person needs--he says he is unable to marry--please make that possible for Him. If not please help him channel His desire in a healthy manner and keep him from temptation--your Son was 33 at a time when most men probably married at 20. He was able to live a full life--help CP do the same." Amen

Someone who says they can do something may not always be correct, but someone who says they can't do something always is. A negative attitude will ALWAYS render you incapable of things that you could have otherwise been capable of.

funny i seen the same questions about a week ago.Assuming that person is rational he could teach maybe a online course,or buy stuff from a flee market and resale it online. It takes a certain amount of money even to be online, unless he was at the library.....Fasting to break all bonds must have right motive.

People have options but maybe they dont take them cos they just dont see them.

When you are full of self-pity you often just make a big deal of things that often arent even true.

For example, when people are suicidal they often arent even aware that they already have lots of blessings. They just have this mindset its easier to die.

And people forget about God when they are in this dark hole. Nothing is impossible for God.

Well said Lanolin, but sometimes we humans all need Christian brothers and sisters to encourage us and to talk things thru with, God said in the beginning, "It is not good for man to be alone." And Paul wrote in his letters how the other believers had 'refreshed' his spirit.

May great men and women in the bible got depressed and discouraged--I hope we can be less like Job's friends and be more like Christ.

Jobs friends talked and talked but they didnt really help him any
What Job needed was less talking! He had to look up and see God.

Yes, they did need to do less talking. They did better when they were just with him without judging him. one of the cruelest things a person can do when someone is down is judge them. Have you ever read David's Psalms--he is often down and discouraged. Our job as brothers and sisters is to stand along side , to pray and encourage one another.
