I know the feeling. I don't even like parking my car there because I've already discovered it was hit once while parked there. Luckily it only scraped the paint on the bumper. I've also come back to my car to find someone parked too close or some idiot who didn't pull into the spot all the way so the back half of their car is sticking out into the roadway. Also, I've seen cars parked so crooked its ridiculous. Then there's the people....
Are you sure your car was hit at Walmart? A month or so back my wife came home from shopping and swore that her car had been hit at Walmart. We went back a while later and I spoke with store loss prevention who were kind enough to scan through the video recordings from that time. Since she was parked in the handicapped spaces the video was quite good and we quickly figured out that the damage must have been there for days and just not noticed until then.

Personally when I go to Walmart I park farther out in the lot. A full size club cab long bed truck doesn't fit so well in parking spaces so it's easier to park where there are fewer vehicles.

Yea I'm sure because ummm... I was working there at the time. :( I do park far away from everyone now, but its kind of a pain having to walk so far.

Lol
I have been using an affordable and amazing skin cream I really like, it's from Poland....but I must say I was disappointed that Chopin's op.9 No.2 didn't play when I open the jar lol it's one of my favorites :)
I think the cream would have to cost more to have that special effect lol

There are a loooot of really nice skin creams from Europe that actually work and have fewer harmful chemicals in them than American skin creams. That's because Europe has much higher standards for skin products and what you are and aren't allowed to put in them. A friend of mine special orders a Swiss skin cream. She was really ecstatic about the stuff.

HAHAHA, First moving to Florida I saw that store and I was like, what do they sell in there? I agree with you Utah!
My ex and I used to dine at a certain restaurant, it was easier to park in the edge of the mall parking lot. For about three months, there was a sign above the building across from the store, said "Dick's - coming soon". We both got a tremendous laugh from this. Please don't anybody be offended that I shared this, but it was very funny. My mom even laughed about it!

I'm just always curious when people are enthusiastic about or loyal to a product. (which I suppose could be a whole other thread topic)

Well, if something works I can definitely see how someone would get excited. So much stuff out there is all hoopla and zero results. I hate advertising.

I agree. I used Nivea for a very long, specifically the creams that were manufactured in Germany. Now, I'm using a Norwegian formula-based skin cream, made by an American brand.

Coming back to the OP -
Despite being a marketing person myself, I don't think much about what happens behind the "scenes". Unless it is something brazenly disturbing (like a brand supporting Jihad or whatnot), I buy products only based on their perceived value.

I have used Nivea for many years. It is very soothing after shaving.

yes; i shopped at walmart today.

now i feel like it's something i ought to confess.

please forgive me, brothers and sisters -- i forsook my ethics all to save a measly $5 on a lego set for my son's birthday :(

i repent! in my heart, i do not want to return to walmart!
I don't want to return there either.

I wanted to put this out there - Some of the top fashion designers in the world are openly gay. It's sad, but I can't think about that, if I want to purchase a pair of Versace sunglasses.

I don't feel convicted when buying stuff, but I do feel convicted when I return something I already opened and wasn't able to repackage it exactly the way it was when I opened it..

Just figured I'd ask. Oh come on, it's good exercise. ;):p
i generally park far away too -- i had a brand-new (to me) car get (apparently) smacked pretty good by a cart in a Home Depot parking lot. no video on that part of the lot. =\
so that's part of the reason - to just be far away from other cars..

but i also go to a big university, and parking is always a problem. i discovered that i actually get to class quicker if i just go directly to the farthest-away parking lot, where i'm a lot more likely to actually get a spot, than to circle around trying to get a 'good' spot. i started to enjoy the long walk back to the car at the end of the day; it is good exercise. and it started to be a habit, to just go ahead and walk a bit further, and fight less traffic.

I just found a new ding on my driver side door today. :( But it could have happened anytime in the last month (its been that long since I've washed my car).

I haven't been to walmart that often and I park far when I do go so I am thinking Costco... its real low on the door too so it could be one of those orange flatbed carts they have... in fact i can't think of what it else it could possibly be.
