So don't lose hope!
Glad for you honey. But, after >12 years since my last date, and no end in sight, along with other continuous droughts in my life, hope is not in abundance right now.

But, I am looking forward to next year's Godzilla movie :)

Hi y'all, it's been a while but I just wanted to post an update/give a testimony. I found him. I found someone who is the exact person I prayed for to the tee. It's almost scary how perfectly he matches my prayer for a spouse and he feels the same way about me. Before we met (in church) he had a dream where God showed him my face and said that I was to be his wife. Safe to say that he freaked out when he saw me coming down the stairs in his church for the first time. The girl from his dream. I cried when he told me this. I also had a dream a few months ago that I would marry a pastor. He is a pastor by the way. And God has been confirming to both of us separately and together that we are meant for each other. He is even more prayerful than me (sometimes sleeps in the church and he spends all night praying). He loves Jesus more than anything and has a heart for doing missions. He's also my age (2 months younger than me to be exact) I cant believe he actually exists. Every time I think about him, I thank God. We both believe that we're each other's soulmates and we're so excited to build God's kingdom together. We're soooo compatible and he's just so kind and caring and I can tell that he truly loves me with the live of God.

So don't lose hope! I had no idea that I would find my godly spouse in Korea. I had even started thinking that I would have to lower my standards a bit if I wanted to get married. But God sent me someone who is even higher than my standards. I just can't believe how blessed I am. For those waiting for the one, keep praying and believing and waiting. God has already given us all the spiritual blessings in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3) so hold onto that word, believe it and your answered prayers will be made manifest. Amen.
wow did you go to Korea?
I watched a documentary on Koreatown yesterday. (Thats in LA) as I was thinking, there now seems to be lots of Korean restaurants more than there used to be but I dont really go check them out. There are heaps of Korean christians though it is a BIG thing there and lots and lots of pastors and new churches so...yea.

Ladies...go to Korea and learn how to make kim chi. You'll find a husband for sure.

I can understand what you are saying and I am still single. What God has been telling me is that He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ, that both singleness and marriage are a blessing, that it is important to trust Him to bless us, it is important to continue to believe that He will bless us beyond the nonbelievers, if we feel impatient at times that patience is a good thing, God can even use the feeling of impatience for good, and it is important to remember to enjoy the journey not solely celebrate the destination. God is good all the time far surpassing any human or people

The ONLY thing I would be wary about is those Moonie weddings in Korea. I dont know if its still there, but please stay away from that cult.

I dont mean to put a damper on things but be sure to check things out before committing.

hey Makamore, how are you, how is everything, and how's the MR ?:)
Hi, everything is going great! We're enjoying getting to know each other and growing in love every day. His parents have also given their approval which is a miracle if you know anything about Korean society amd how they feel about Koreans marrying foreigners. God is so good!

I hope all is well with you? :)

I live here, moved here last year. Slowly but surely learning Korean haha
cool, whats it like. Hard to learn?
where did you move from? Are you going to stay?
I dont know if Im ever going to move from where I am. I like being home. I think if you marry someone you must be willing to give up everything. But problem with marrying is always the in-laws. If they dont like you you might be sunk...and then theres more trouble.

Do you get along with his family and he yours?

This is a good report about the awesome power of God in orchestrating the events leading up to this.

What do you mean by, everything? I think it is more lose ang gain. If one spouse is always giving up everything, that doesn't seem like a healthy situation.

I have been also struggling with the same issue and i am already 37. But I have seen that following my own path will only lead to heartache, so i am patiently waiting for God to put the right Godly man in my path.

well mostly women are giving up their bodies, and often extended families, livlihood and even their homeland
Just seems to be the case in most marriages as I've observed.

Not saying I agree with it, but seen too many ones that didn't work out and the wife got left high and dry or marooned on a tiny island far away from everyone else (hello NZ!) with children.

Also, who REALLY gets on with their in-laws? Come on be honest.

Though don't listen to me I'm really trying not to be cynical. Maybe true love is really out there serenading you below your balcony and NOT by advertising on Tinder.
