For some reason whenever I see cinder I think "cinder block." Which doesn't make sense because she's not anything like a blockhead... and there are not any cinders in cinder blocks these days. Oh well. I also think of cylinder, like in a car engine.

As for me, when I give you a reference to a good comic it is Lynx' links. =^.^=

Every time I try to respond to this thread, I come up with Spoonerisms inappropriate for this (or any) forum. ;)

Don't know about Spoonerism, even though I think I'm suffering from it, according to another thread...but I'm often choosing not to respond to posts due to my language...which can come across...colorful...at best.

Hahaha

They're not even called cinder blocks any more. Officially they are CMU (concrete masonry unit).

Did you just delete part of this post? LOL
HA HA HA, Susanna!!! :D That was funny. :)

McGee would be the guy tagging/posting graffiti all over the place...

With ink or paint that disappears less than an hour.

Hey Everyone,

What are some clever variations or puns on usernames that already exist here on CC?

They don't have to sound exactly the same--just a playful version of usernames that are already in use. :)

Here are a few I've come up with...

For example:

Seoulsearch -- SoleSearch or SoulSearch.

oldthennew -- OldThenGnu. :)

Tinuviel -- TinGroove-ial.

Magenta -- PurpleReign (a nod to the 80's Prince song, Purple Rain.) :)

And, I have often told Lynx that I just might take a break from CC... and then come back with the new username of... Links. :D

I'm sure you all can come up with a lot better ones than this. :p

This is just meant to be a goofy, light-hearted thread.

I hope everyone will kick up their heels and have some fun! :)
I'm not as clever as you for even noticing possible puns, but sometimes I read so fast, I miss words, or change them completely.

When I first saw you on this site, I thought you were in the solar panel industry, but thought something about souls. (Don't know what -- since I was just seeing you for the first time.) All that because I misread your name as Soulerer.

Also misread sometimes when people are talking to me, to the point of not even knowing they're talking to me for a good 1-2 more sentences. Why? Because I thought I read "deleted."

And speaking of Lynx. Personally, I think his name is Lynn, but he typoed it the first time, and is now hiding it. (Just kidding, Lynx.)

Seoulsearch - Oldchurch
Susanna - Sue Anna
Auntieant - Aintmyaunt
Tommy379 - Commie379
Dino246 - Whino246
BillG - Belgium
(Methinks "Sue Anna" has been already thinking this stuff for a while, as easily as this came to her. lol)

Yeesh! This is embarrassing. I'm beginning to think maybe it's not speed reading problems. Maybe it's another part of my aphasia I never noticed before, because all this time, and I really have been thinking you're user name was ZeroTolerance. Said with humor, but I really did.

Izz that a fizzoblem?
Here's a weird connection.

I see your name and think "Fizzle my Chizzle." (I've heard Snoop Dog say something like that, although I doubt I have it right, but I'm hoping that's not a bad thing to say.)

And from there I keep picturing you as Licorice.

Twizzlers!
