We just saved a whole bunch of money, not buying into a Catholic holiday.

Now now, you can't blame EVERYTHING on Catholics. This is definitely a greedy company thing. If it was the fault of the Catholic church there wouldn't be nearly as much push to buy stuff... That the church didn't even indirectly profit from.
