Have all of your read the love langauges book?

the five love languages by Gary Chapman.

so my love language is quality time. I both give and need time. I cant stand it when people say they are in a hurry and try to rush me or others around.

The other four are

words of affirmation
touch
service

and...one other I cant remember...it will come to me...

Listening, showing up in all seasons, sincere and tender loving care, come as a servant... we need His Loving work in us to help us, especially on weary days.

Hello beautiful souls,

I hope you're having a lovely day / night.

I'm curious to know how you express love to others around you, in your daily life.

I am not talking about the love languages, but about the actual, practical, things that you do that show others you love them.

Since most of us here are single, this question can be applied to your family members, friends, colleagues, and even strangers.

Looking forward to your replies!
Thank you for asking affirmative questions like this. Very good idea. 💕

My way of showing love to others is making them feel they are heard and listened to. Probably because that's my basic need too. That's what uplift me most. I want people to make me feel that they heard me. Though they may not always understand at least they tried to hear you out. I'm still a work in progress in how to better communicate my feelings with people. I believe this is one of the keys to have better and peaceful relationship with others -- Learning to communicate yourself clearly and helping others communicate themselves to you. Building connections through sincere and clear communications. We feel most loved when a sense of bonding is formed. And it all starts with simply making the move to listen and communicate. I wanna get better on this and hopefully show more love. ❤️

Thinking about it more - other than my earlier post about memes and art - I think I tend to show love in doing activities together. I want to show him what I like to do and also learn to like more what he likes.

If I really really really love the person, I get cuddly. Not what the world calls “cuddling” but like resting my head on his shoulder, holding his arm, that sorta thing.
