If I were a girl, sinceI read all the Pippi Longstocking books growing up, I wouldn't mind that name for, yeah, IF I was a girl.

And, if I have a girl, I will name her 'Pippi,' perhaps, well, you know, what I mean, I'm not having no girl, but, don't discount it, sara was 90 when she had a child and we all know what the bible says , 'All things are possible with God.' :) So, if I tell you my belly is getting bigger, believe it ! :D

This thread has been great for giving me ideas for my various aliases.

You're all indirectly involved with some highly suspicious, possibly criminal, activity now...muahaha...

Stilly...otherwise known as 1Still_waters

It is well kn
own that women like to "try on" last names

ahhh thank you for the clarification. And yes..we do like to try on names... it's fun.... plus A woman has to prepare herself beforehand if she is to take on a name like Hinklemier... or Ogenfuss

I wouldn't change my name, but it would be useful to have a middle- name that the Scots could pronounce :p

I went through a festival being nicknamed Ashley, so I guess that would work, as I'd actually reply to it.

I was thinking about that the other day, why not just both take a new last name when marrying?

I was thinking, for the women's lib types, rather than hyphenating, why not just both change your last name to something cool like "Thrasher".

Well that's another thing I've been thinking about, I know you have to make a small donation if you want your name changed or else a lot of people would be doing it arbitrarily, but what does it cost to get another user's name changed? Can we get a pool going to change Jim Jimmer's user name to "Jim Dandy"?

If I ever marry someone with the last name of Jingleheimer Schmidt, I will name my son Jon Jacob.

True story. My boyfriend and I recently discovered that when we combine my first name and his last name, and you say it quickly, it sounds like a poorly enunciated "I'll eat you". Hyphenating doesn't really help either, because my last name and his last name combined sound like another awkward phrase. It's hopeless. I told him we can't get married. :p
