Utah, I think it's awesome that you have the nerve to state this publicly, because this is exactly how I feel as well.

I absolutely could not tolerate anyone belittling or harming my children, and I would have spent everything I had pursuing whatever retribution was available to the fullest extent of the law.
Thank you, my dear Sister. I hold you up with very high regards because of the depth of your integrity. Knowing you understand where I'm coming from means the world. God bless you.

Like always these threads seem to go off into some left-wing rant ..we are equal because of Christ ...not because of some left-wing PC nonsense.

There are a lot of people in the world who are much more accepting of mixed breed animals than they are of mixed race people.
Exactly. I have a mutt and he's smarter (and more healthy) than most of the purebreeds I've met. Lot of people I know have mutts.

People who look askance at a child from a mixed marriage, maybe oughta ask them what kind of dog they have.

Hmm... sorry, I must have missed that. Who was ranting?

Lol. Right on brother. Equal in Christ.
I'm inventing a new term, (unless someone else did...)
InterGracial.
Intergracial dating.
Intergracial marriage.
Intergracial love.

(Ok, gimme a break, maybe it's not great,
But I'm not an expert in linguisticism-ishness) :p

As I said, people just wait too much time playing the victim role and forget that they should just don't give a damn about bullies, and even make fun out of things.

Hey thanks, spike, welcome, and yeah, there are often times I hate to admit, but I struggle with this, and it's just not productive.....it's better to repent of the thinking, ask Jesus for His grace and strength to rise above, add a little humor where possible, like you said, and move onward and upward. Thx for the reminder. :)

Yeah, some times it's kinda hard to overcome the situation.
But look, even in the bible (News testment) says that you should fight when you have to.

[h=1]Luke 22:36New International Version (NIV)[/h]36 He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

For a long time I was a victim of bullying, until I decided to be the player.
You're not a victim at all, you just have to know how the game works, then they'll stop bullying you.
It's all about making fun, then you have two options:

You beat the crap out of them or you join their game and make fun out of yourself and everything else.

Stop playing the victim role. Being the victim is worse than being the bully. When you play the victim role, you're doing exactly what they want you to do.
This is complete and utter bull. I was a constant victim of bullying through high school and my tertiary years. I didn't play the victim. It didn't make me worse than the bully. What makes someone equal to the bully is the morons who are present who don't do anything to stop the bullying (friend or foe).

I agree. No matter how hard i tried, I could never stop them from bullying me. Believe me, I laughed with their jokes, I poked fun at myself - none of that worked. And getting physical with them was not possible because I was "puny".

Yep. Unfortunately, that's the situation I find myself in too, dear brother. I was 5'6" through most of high school. There's that one time though, where a notorious bully tried to strangle me with my own tie on the school bus, so I punched him really hard, right in the eye and he let go. Serves him right. I could have died.

I think the moral of the story is that when a man finds something worth fighting for (something more than his own personal safety) he will fight.

I think it's a matter of personal preference! There are tons of interracial couples that are great together. For me it would really just depend on how the other person was raised. I usually look for someone who has a similar background as mine.

Didn't work for you because there is a great difference between being funny and being playful. You wasn't playful.

You have to make people laugh on a smart way. When you do that, people that try to pick up on you will just be seen as mean by the others.

Just picture this scenario: Jim Carrey is about to make a presentation in your city, everybody wants to go watch him, then suddenly an idiot cancels the show, what will be the feeling of the people when they know a specific guy canceled the show?
The best thing this guy gotta do is to cancel his twitter account ASAP, and don't go out on the streets for a long time.

I would probably be the idiot. Not intentionally, I just don't care for that guy. :p

Hahaha, I knew someone would say that.
Just think about another person you like then.

Man was made from the dust...period. The same dirt that made whites, made blacks, and all other races.

Ah, THAT explains it! When I get around certain people I sneeze. Now I know why. Dust! ;)
