Forum drama can be fun. I prefer not to be in the middle of it. :p
I hear ya...
When conflict turns into belittling, name calling, and telling someone they arent saved is when I am sickened and leave the room. That behavior should not exist here.

I hear brother what you are saying. I agree that we stand with God's armor and in His Spirit to fight against the darkness that seeks to kill and destroy. Those that believe they are invincible, think they will not burn, and they don't need God...they need to see the power of His wrath and fear Him.
At the same time I am led by the Holy Spirit to show the broken His truth through love and kindness. Certain people already suffer from war and conflict but would be drawn easier by the message of "good news" because God is good and loves them so much that He would become flesh and spill His blood in order to save them.
I believe God gives each of us the lessons and grows the fruit in accordance to the work He has laid for those that seek to do His will. Both approaches to minister are necessary.

Just an example...there is a lot of fighting and conflict in a particular forum I'm thinking of. Some who ridicule, laugh at believers, and TROLLS might enjoy that environment to feed their flesh and I hope God uses something to pull them into the conversation. Many come in to CC going through pain and loss...looking for hope...answers. They wont stick around that environment and may think th that we act and treat each other horribly. Truth is sometimes we do. Where does that lost person go? What have we accomplished?
I agree. There is a time for war, there is a time for showing kindness and mercy and forgiveness. Our God is the same. What greater love can one experience than the love of God. Yet our God is a Man of war and any who make an enemy of our God will know the consequences. We need to be the same.

Concerning those believers who come on a forum and are discouraged by the fighting going on, then I would say they probably shouldn't be here. In fact, I believe new believers should not be on Christian forums at all, as they will not know what to believe. They need to be in a local fellowship somewhere and grow some. Then come on a forum if they a mind to.

But concerning those who are of the world, I do not worry. If you can't please them with the Gospel, then you won't be able to please them in any fashion.

I read and appreciate your testimony sister.

I was kinda hoping this was about physical fighting lol but nope, anyway I don't think, at least for the most part, that the drama is exciting especially if it's about something important. I tend to just want to help cuz i don't want people walking aimlessly or going in the wrong direction so yea. There are two things you should take into account: 1. Im a guy we aren't like women you guys tend to like that kind of stuff. 2.My life is full of arguments and drama. If it's something more playful maybe but if it's serious i don't enjoy it but maybe that's just me.
yeah me to, some mano a mano! at the end you always get the girl...seems win or lose you get "A" girl! :sneaky:

a chess match is where everyone understand the rules and agree to play by those rules, risky play will be wowed and admired and make the play organic (like drunken fist, lol, which can be amusing)

for BDF, agreement is sorely lacking, maybe the only agreement exist is this "we are posting on BDF on cc.com" that's probably the only agreement and nothing more.

if I'm pushing anything at all, it's trying to make God appear more alive in the forum, like it's "art" or something

let God come to life! in dead forums
