Mel, just letting you know, I did not take it seriously :) That is why I called Tommy a wascally wag :D But I also want to thank you for setting the record straight for those who did not understand. You have handled it with grace :)
She was definitely a good sport. I did basically the same thing in my Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band thread when my wife and I were conversing back and forth on CC before we got married but the sentiments expressed were real. I didn't take this thread seriously either but it sure was fun. :)

Mel has been a very good sport. Anyone with eyes to see can admire her for her good sense, amiability, and love for the Lord :) And those who know Tommy understand he is no fool to make declarations of love without some sense of certainty of reciprocity. Both have a good sense of humor, which is a wonderful asset :) Tommy picked his "target" well. I hope Mel was not too put out by all the attention she received as a result of this thread

Just for those who are super invested in this, and have been asking me and messaging me lol as much as the flattery goes, there is nothing happening between Tommy and I :)

Sorry to disappoint our fan club haha but the truth should be told so that gossip or any form like that should be stopped, especially if we are to stand for truth in Christ.

I appreciate you all coming through and showing the Love, cause hey, Love should be always given :) but I do want to thank Tommy for the thought and time he’s given in the past few hours.

Blessings ❤️
Oh bummer. And I thought there was gonna be a part 2. Club's over friends. HahahahahHha. Lol

the only one I've got is...

"There once was a girl from Nantucket... " oh, wait....

never mind.
Oo, oo. Now I have to go with the risque one Mom taught me in second grade.

There was a young man from Glass.
He had the most beautiful ass.
Not round and pink,
like you might think.
Gray, long ears, and ate grass.

I think that's a wonderful idea. I'm sure that he would express his thoughts about you beautifully.

Love Comes Quietly
Robert Creeley, 1926 - 2005

Love comes quietly,
finally, drops
about me, on me,
in the old ways.

What did I know
thinking myself
able to go
alone all the way.

Yours
Daniel Hoffman, 1923 - 2013

I am yours as the summer air at evening is
Possessed by the scent of linden blossoms,

As the snowcap gleams with light
Lent it by the brimming moon.

Without you I'd be an unleafed tree
Blasted in a bleakness with no Spring.

Your love is the weather of my being.
What is an island without the sea?

Sonnet w/ Rose
Matthew Yeager

When I see you after so long not
seeing you it is like picking up in
side a fist the flopped red petals of
a drooped red rose, and when you
speak in the voice that could only be
yours it is like staring into my fist
top's opening and seeing the rose
as the rose once was. This is not just
to say that the swirl and sweetness
soon flops back open to what now is,
though it does, but that when I see
you after so long not seeing you
I make sense of my feeling in terms
of the rose, and carry it past goodbye.

Love Poem by Nicholas Klein

Love can never be portrayed
The same way as a tree,
Or the sea, or any other mystery.
It's the eyes, with which we see.
It's the sinner in the Saint.
It's the light within the paint.
