I guess 4 hours of sleep is all I'll get tonight. Woke up an hour ago, no rest in sight.
I understand how you feel. I've had nights like that also. Some days the day to day struggle leaves me mentally drained and physically exhausted. A lot of that has to do with anxiety. I try to have a clear plan in my mind of what I hope to accomplish the next day. I do what I can and remove the thoughts of what's not realistic or worth worrying about from my mind. Of course, this requires prayer. When I pray it is like a conversation with God. It's a good not to be alone in this world.

It time to do some spring cleaning and edit my friends list on my profile page. There are a few members that I would certainly add if a request was sent but I don't generally send out requests on my own for my name to be added to someone else's list. Currently I have 50 friends on my list but I have always believed that the more friends that you have the least important each one becomes. I want to keep only the most significant CC peeps on my list that I have been blessed to have come into my life.

I prefer to have on my list active contributing members who have become interwoven into my life and consider these members to be very real and not simply virtual who can be deleted at any time. Right now, a reasonable goal would be to prune the list to have maybe 20 - 25 peeps that I know very well, care about and pray for. Peeps that I would love to meet one day, either in this life or the next. Peeps that I would enjoy spending time with and who would enjoy spending time with me.

I will do some praying and contemplation before I make any changes but will start by stating who remains.

JesusLives - because she is my heart's desire and is a wonderful wife.

blue_ladybug - because she was the first friend that went on my list and I enjoyed very much flirting with her during my single CC days. She is very much an orange tabby lady and will one day see her beloved Tequila once again.

Currently, 48 names to go.

Of course, some peeps might chose to delete me as well but such is life and I wish them Safe Passage.

There will be further updates in future Midnight Confessions in the days to follow.

I still have Frank (achildofGod) on my friend's list, even though he's gone "home" now. :)

And I certainly hope to my beautiful Tequila again.. :)

That's wonderful that you still have achildofGod on your list. I miss Frank very much and he was a true warrior of in the army of God who fought the good fight until his last breath. I was deeply sadden when he left us and one day we will meet. Your post has touched me deeply and you will most definitely pet your beloved Tequila again in a much better place than we are now living out our days. One cannot even begin to imagine what God has planned for those that love Him and that He calls by name. And that includes animals too.

I don't plan on removing any members from my friends list tonight but will say that it is an honor to keep a friend on it.

zeroturbulence - because he is a good man and has always been kind to me. I know that he is also a lonely man and I have prayed for God to find him a woman of his heart's desire if this is what he truly wants. He is also very interesting and amusing too but at times there is a sadness in his humor, perhaps to cover up a pain or a hurt.

I would like to confess that, when I was 5 or 6 years old - I stole lollies from the local shop.

When I was 10 or 11 years old, we had a school camp that involved tramping in the woods, I was busting to go to the “ladies” and unfortunately “didn’t make it” - if you get my drift.

When I was 13 years old I had my first fight, with a boy. He threw a chair at me and I cornered him and threw some uppercuts at him.

When i started college (high school), I had a crush on my teacher who was and looked alot younger than he was.

There’s more where that came from but for now.....

Thank you for sharing a confession on my thread as not many are brave enough to do so. When I was 14 me and my brother stole some lollies too (something else) and were led out of the store in handcuffs and hauled to the local police precinct. It was not one of my better moments. I don't do that anymore. :)

Mel's ladies confession has made me brave enough to say this

I stopped bedwetting when I was 10 or 11 and I did a little..... JUST ONCE when I was 13.

You are another brave peep and I appreciate your entry in my thread. I love reading your posts in other threads and believe that you are spiritually and mentally mature beyond your years. You are a tremendous asset to our community. :)

Things didn't go well for me yesterday here as I said some things that I probably should not have said and someone's feelings got hurt as a result. It's not worth it for me if what I write end's up causing hurt and bad feelings because that's not what I am about. Perhaps I need an extended time out. I'm considering this.

Bless your heart, Tourist! <3 :) I have to admit though that i'm not as lonely as I was before.... but i guess it comes and goes.. Right now I'm more preoccupied with figuring out what to do with my life, although I can't really complain... life has been pretty good, but I will need to choose a new vocation soon... thinking of becoming a personal trainer (fitness/nutrition coach) but not sure yet... Thank you from the bottom of my heart, sir. :)

Oh sorry to hear that Tourist. :( I've had times when I wish I could share but knew it was probably best not to... Hope you feel better soon. Will pray for you.

I'm considering a new vocation too my friend. Even though I'm getting older I'm still young enough to stay in the game for a little while longer. I understand about the loneliness too as when I was single it would come and go. I guess that I reached a point where I was drowning in loneliness so I prayed for God to find a sweet loving woman for me and He did. I've been truly blessed with the one that He chose to become my wife. I pray for you often, not just for God to find someone for you but to also be with you every step of your spiritual life journey. Safe travels to you sir.

Yes, sometimes I just say things that I probably should not have. I consider every peep on this site to be real and not virtual. There are times that I forget that and I feel bad when I hurt someone's feelings because that's the last thing that I want to do. This kind of stuff gets to me. I'm more than OK now though. The slate is wiped clean and it's a new day. God bless you for your concern about my emotional well being.

Thank you so much, Tourist. I can never repay you for all of your kindness. And I don't even deserve it. God bless you a thousand times...and your wonderful wife too! <3

On the subject of midnight confessions, here's mine:

"When I'm telling the world that I love you!"
