Aw, I'm really sorry to hear you're going through this. 😟 You are a beautiful person, inside and out.

I hope you won't be discouraged about your accent. I grew up in the North, and have always been fascinated by the South. A Southern accent is like a beautiful melody. ☺️

Ironically, most of the good friends I've made on CC are from the South, and say it's a sign to move down there!

I hope God gives peace and joy with who He made you to be. 🙂

Thank you and thank you all so much. I'm very soft spoken in that I have a soft voice. So it isn't merely my accent. I've just become so critical of myself as if what was I lacking or what wasn't good enough ? Uggg ! This too shall pass. God bless you all.

I don't know if anyone here has this, but when I'm close to someone, I can feel their heart. It doesn't matter if they're right next to me, or hundreds of miles from them-if they're unhappy, I feel unhappy. I don't know what it is, or what it's called. Empathetic discernment, perhaps?

I had a grandfather who was like that. Or maybe not really like that, but he knew a lot of stuff that other people didn’t.

You are right on target on your estimation and I believe that you have an empathic nature, which in itself can be a blessing or a burden or possibly both. Perhaps it is one of the gifts that the Holy Spirit has given you with the effectiveness being predicated on your current tolerance for pain.

I cannot feel other people. And they cannot feel me.

ZT, I don't know if you saw this on my FB page, but I posted this photo I took of a savannah monitor at the zoo. The caption I put under it is: "I'm in a glass case of emotion!":ROFL:

I'm still missing someone who broke my heart. We haven't spoken in months. The parting of ways was very amicable. Its left me feeling as if I'm not good enough. Not pretty enough. I have this southern accent and don't speak professional or fancy or something. I've become very critical of myself and I'm praying about it.
Keep your faith and trust in HIM... Know your worth, and pray for his blessings. HE will bless you beyond your expectations...

I have not watched Game of Thrones either. If you gave me a million dollars to tell you what it's about, who stars in it, or what time or channel it is on, I would be at a loss.
I have no idea what it is about. This must be a younger generation thing.

Welcome back, Tinkerbell!

Glad to see you posting again, and hope all is going well! :)
Thank you miss kim. All is well. Been so stressed at work since I got promoted. And now my two weeks vacation is almost over. Going back to reality soon. I just missed y'all CC peeps so I had to visit the forums. 😊
