Anyone who has a weak pancreas or spleen and is worried about splitting open an important organ or gland by laughing, do NOT watch Joel Hodgekins and his two robot pals make fun of B rated movies on MST3000 :) All the older ones with Joel. (not Mike, he's lame)
Aw crud, I was introduced to this show during the "Mike Era"... and thought it was pretty hilarious... :) but I agree, the movie was a HUGE disappointment. They didn't even pick a good movie to make fun of. The only good part of the movie was getting to see some of the 'bot's rooms... (I forget... did we get to see the infamous Chicken Puppet in the movie??)

I miss Crow, Servo, Gypsy... and of course, The Chicken Puppet.

(Space Mutiny is one of my faves... coming up with nicknames for the Overly Beefy, Underwhelmingly Brainy main character: "Fridge Largemeat!" "Bolt Vanderhuge!" "Big McLargeHuge!" "Bob Johnson! No wait...")

Classic!

It's funny how much everyone's tastes are so different...

I guess I'm a little eclectic in that I love all the Disney/Pixar/usual goodie "shiny happy" movies... But I also have a penchant for extremely dark themes as well.

Cristen, you know I adore you but maybe you think I'm a big jerk for this *hangs her head*. I actually really liked Splice and was disappointed that there is not going to be a sequel. Yeah, it was unbearable to watch at times but I really like stories that take modern themes (genetic tampering) and run with it... because it's not as far off as we may think, and the reality is, moral codes and ethics are almost always lagging far behind science and technology.
That's the thing that made me so mad at the movie, I think- it was a good story. But there were a couple parts I just could not sit through, it made me literally sick to my stomach (and I have a strong stomach).

I really like that type of movie, generally...but this one just got to me.

And no, I absolutely don't think you're a jerk :)

Halo 4 Forward unto dawn: 92 minute movie. The first 88 minutes were amazing. The last 4 ripped out my soul.

Good will hunting: Why i watched this movie with the stupid title, i'll never know.

Dear John and Safe Haven: Nicolas sparks, please stop writing books so we don't have to endure the movies....

Silver linings: We get it, you're both mentally retarded.

Karate kid 1,2,3,4, however many there were: Really, after all those movies and you still suck at karate??

Where the red fern grows: I saw this 7 times in 1993 and i haven't stopped crying since.

God's not dead: Did you really make a movie based off a song? Movie bad, song good.

Maid in Manhattan: Jennifer Lopez, NO!

Cast away: I kept imaging what it would be like to rip my tooth out of my mouth for months after

Every movie Kristen Stewart will ever be in from hence forth.

Armageddon and Deep impact: I actually thought the earth was going to be destroyed. Way to get my hopes up.
best post ever

Any movie without a real plot and pretty graphics that try to mask it,
like any new Pixar that has come out within the last seven to eight years or so.

Hey, someone needs to say it! lol

Ouch. Pixar was one of those companies you could generally rely on for interesting characters and a heartfelt story, along with the pretty graphics. They've stuffed up a few times in the last few years. But the last seven to eight years? Really? That's a bit rough!

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy- I like stupid movies, but this one was too stupid even for me.

Twilight- I don't fall asleep during movies no matter how bad they are...until this one.

Cloverfield- Made me sick...physically. It was that bad.

Movies starring Mandy Moore
Movies starring Ben Stiller
Rocky Horror Picture Show (maybe should not have watched it for the first time ever after not sleeping for two days straight?)
Jeepers Creepers (was taken to this in the theater on a first date...and last date...)
Magic Mike (went to see this on a girl's day out thing with my friend...what a waste of everything that was)

Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. I literally said, "Well that's two hours of my life I'll never get back" to my friend when the dvd ended.

Hmm!

At this moment I don´t remember having seen one I absolutely regret having seen (probably I regreted money wasted) but, this week I watched "The wolf of Wall Street".

I don´t like it for visibly promoting the use of drugs.

My likes for DeCaprio performance changed (he was involved in the production) and the rest of it portrayed part of "real" life not too many people are involved with (I thank God for that) and I never would read that novel of Jordan Belfort.

there are three. Can't remember the names, but I guess it's just as well. All within the last ten years or less. A complete waste of tape.
