Sheolsearch - looking for life in all the wrong places

Or at least that's the first thing I thought of.
One things for certain... There's no life in the "I Must Have My Own Way, with No Work and No Effort on My Part," that's for sure. ๐Ÿ˜’

Thoughts from a hot air balloon:

From way up here, can't tell you who is who
The make or model of the cars
Tiny houses line the tiny streets
Tiny pools and tiny yards

They take a lot of time and energy
For the amount of joy they bring
It seems a shame to go and waste it all
On such tiny, tiny things

Heres a potentially profound thought (more warning) if yall have a Nintendo switch yall might want to avoid buying any of the dating sims. I have a reason to believe most (not all) where porn games prior to there release on the switch but the pornography element has been taking out and toned down to an M for mature rating. So if you see a well animated Japanese style dating sim with an M rating its probably one of them. That being said I dont think Id need to worry about anyone here buying them, but if you'll got family who likes that stuff you might to warn them. Thankfully I am in the know of many Christian's getting into the video game scene and I hope many of there wholesome titles will make it to the switch. Ps if yall are wondering why I know this best not ask questions I have my sources ๐Ÿ˜Žโ˜•

At my job there is a small black table on wheels. It is very popular as a mobile workstation. Many use it for many tasks throughout the day.

There is this one crabby old woman who always tries to put that rolling table in a certain place and guard it like a doberman for about an hour, just to make sure she will have it when she finally needs to use it.

Funny thing though... it's not hers. Nothing in that store is hers. The clothes she is wearing are not hers. It all belongs to the guy who owns that store. If we quit or get fired or if the store goes out of business, we don't take any of that stuff with us when we leave. All the stuff we might try to requisition, all the outrage when somebody is using the tools we need at the time we need them - it's all fuss and bother over stuff that isn't even ours.

I wonder if that's how God feels about the stuff He put in this world. We wish we had more. We envy those who have more and think we are better than those who have less. We steal and kill over money or a sparkling rock. We have whole big wars over basic resources.

But it's all stuff God put in this world, stuff God will one day take back. Even if this world lasted forever, we won't take anything out of it when we leave it.

Sometimes I imagine God holding His head in his hands and saying, "Kids, kids, please, stop fighting over this. That's not what I put this stuff there for!"

I spent an hour in the bank with my dad, as he had to transfer some money. I couldn't resist
myself and asked...
''Dad, why don't we activate your internet banking?''
''Why would I do that?'' He asked...
''Well, then you wont have to spend an hour here for things like making a transfer.
You can even do your shopping online. Everything will be so easy!''
I was so excited about initiating him into the world of Net banking.
He asked ''If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house?โ€
''Yes, yes''! I said. I told him how even groceries can be delivered at your door now and how amazon delivers everything!

His answer left me tongue-tied.
He said ''Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted awhile with the staff
who know me very well by now.
You know, I am alone...this is the company that I need.
I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have enough time, it is the physical touch that I crave.
Two years back, I got sick. The store owner from whom I buy fruits, came to see me and sat by my bedside
and cried.
When your Mom fell down a few days back while on her morning walk, our local grocer saw her and immediately got his car to rush her home as he knows where I live.
Would I have that 'human' touch if everything became online?
Why would I want everything delivered to me and force me to interact with just my computer?
I like to know the person that I'm dealing with and not just the 'seller'. It creates bonds of Relationships.
Does Amazon deliver all this as well?'''

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.
Either way they're gonna kick you out of Sea World for it.
