I know, right? The police are sooo nosey.

:) I gotta say I love it when the little tiny red flag goes up. "and how does that make you feel Mr. Thomas?" Like a little squirrel just pops up on his hind legs a second - still chewing - everythings still alright - just lookin' - checking in on things - thought I saw something there. :)

You don't have a clue what I'm talking about do you Catlyn?

Ok - prepping - being prepared mostly for times of financial chaos. Maybe even government overthrow. But mostly I'm just joking because ...that's what I do.

Have you seen any of the prepping reality shows? They're... um, interesting.

lol...these are crackin' me up! Ok..let's see.............

@ Aimee ...if I had only $20 to spend what would it be on? hmm... I'd like to say on something responsible, but seeing as how you certainly can't be expected to purchase anything responsible these days for a mere $20,I would say more than likely I'd call up a close friend & say "Let's go do coffee or out to lunch,my treat!"

@ seoulsearch ....My buns & I haven't spoken in over a decade now & frankly they can kiss themselves for all I care. lol

@ Grace-Like-Rain ...If by "Sherlockian" you mean have I ever introduced myself to anyone as a high functioning sociopath or if I've ever gone on a date & taken her to a Chinese circus? Umm...er, why is it that you want to know? lol

Oncefallen: Do you think that re-naming it the "Singles' Support Forum" would help keep the "does anybody want to date me?" threads down?
We could rename it the "Singles Support we are not a dating site Forum" and still get the "looking for my missing rip" threads.

Two questions for everyone:

1. What is your favorite dessert?

2. What is your favorite breakfast food?

This is important because I'm so very hungry right now, but can't stand to eat one more squirrel.

Cannoli are Sicilian pastry desserts. The singular is cannolo, meaning "little tube", with the etymology stemming from the Latin "canna", or reed. Cannoli originated in Sicily and are an essential part of Sicilian cuisine

Rachel- What is your favorite outdoor winter activity?
Hmmm. I mainly like to observe the outdoors during the winter. I love watching snow fall, for instance. I guess I do like short winter walks in the brisk, cold air, all wrapped up in a coat and scarf, and then going back inside and drinking hot chocolate.

Rachelsedge: When you were a kid, what did you name your future children?
My taste in names changed quite a bit from back then to now. I remember when I was young (maybe middle school), I had "different" names in mind, like Deserae and Saralia. And I still think those are pretty. Just not sure if they're still on the top of my name list now. ;)

1. ICE CREAM. ICE CREAM ICE CREAM ICE CREAM.

2. I adore breakfast food. I like hashbrowns. And chocolate chip pancakes. And waffles. And bacon. I don't know if I can pick a favorite. If I was forced to, probably french toast.

Question from Nod to Jullianna-Since your the former po po do you watch the show cops?

I love cop shows and movies. Few of them are realistic though. :)

Some of my all-time favorite shows/movies:
Miami Vice, SWAT, Lethal Weapon series, Die Hard series, 24, NCIS (the original, NOT the LA version) and I love, love, love, love, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this new one! :)

Jilly: I'm not sure I've ever had a root beer float. So... no? Or maybe?

Nod: Sadly, no part of me is Tibetan. :( It was all because of this thread that I started to amuse myself.

Duchessaimee: My screenname was just a random bit of randomness that popped into my head when I decided to sign up for cc. I don't really plan many things ahead of time. :D

Questions:

Catlynn: What's the grossest thing you've ever eaten? (And none of this "Something at a cafe in Cleveland" nonsense. We want details!)

Itore: Where, at this exact moment in time, are your buns?

Seoulsearch: Do you have any pets? I can't remember you mentioning any.

Nukepooch: Did you realize that my brain keeps turning your screenname into "Pukenooch"? Are you sorry about that?

Djness: What's the best thing that's ever happened to you?

Misscris: Have you ever had a hamster, gerbil, or guinea pig for a pet? How about for dinner?

Everyone: Do you have a scar with a funny, not-embarrassing-or-painful story behind it?

Misscris: Have you ever had a hamster, gerbil, or guinea pig for a pet? How about for dinner?
I never had any of those kinds of pets, growing up. But, my husband and I "adopted" a hamster once. We named him Sam Sam, and we liked to put him in his hamster ball and sic him on our cats. He'd charge at them, too. Bowling for kitties.

And then one day, I went to get him out to put him in the ball, and he had given up the ghost. Kicked the bucket. Gone up to that Great Hamster Wheel in the Sky. 'Twas goodnight forever, Sam Sam.

I didn't know what to do with him because we couldn't bury him, so I threw him in the trash and said a prayer- "Lord forgive me, but I think people throw dead rats in the garbage, so I'm not really wrong here, am I?"

My husband took it pretty hard.

No, I've never eaten any rodents...for dinner.

LilChristian: What's the funniest thing your dog ever did?
Well, let's see...there's quite a few things. XD

There's the one time my dog's head got stuck in an ice cream carton...

Then there's the one time I took a picture of my dog mid-yawn....

Then there's those times where I tell Mocha to come inside and practically says, "No!" to me. lol

See, that's the sort of information that I already have! I was wondering what you do specifically. Because technically, people might think that we are preppers. We do the gardening and canning thing. We try to do as much off-grid as possible...we are trying to get meat goats...and such. BUT, it's purely for fun and to be self-sufficient, not because we think the government is going to lock us in concentration camps and take over the world. Or are they.....?

Catlynn: What's the grossest thing you've ever eaten? (And none of this "Something at a cafe in Cleveland" nonsense. We want details!)
Probably natto beans. (fermented soy beans....SO GROSS!)
natto 1-thumb-320x370-1546.jpg

I came close to eating balut once, but couldn't bring myself to do it.

Everyone: Do you have a scar with a funny, not-embarrassing-or-painful story behind it?
I have some scars on my left hip that look like small craters in my skin. -_- My sisters were beach rats when we lived in Hawaii and brought home boil causing bacteria. So I got to experience boils. Gross, disgusting boils. I won't go into detail...but it was quite traumatizing. (p.s. not much embarrasses me....sooo...sorry if this embarrasses someone else.)

Ice cream, and ice cream :p

Seriously, I'd say mushrooms fried in a little garlic for dinner, and Granola for breakfast.

Let me see here...

Oceangrl, where have you been? I've missed you around the place. :)

JimmyDiggs, what will it take to get you to come into the Single Forum more often? Also, What rank are you in your family? As in, oldest, youngest, middle, etc.

XxErraticEmilyxX, are you interested in graph design? For some reason I always think "Emily is a graphic designer", and now my brain won't quit it.

Oncefallen, you mentioned at one point you have or had a cat. what was its name? If the name was embarrassingly childish, you can just disregard this :D

I may think of some more later.
