Shouryu: Would you ever try speed dating?

Uh, I would, I think...if I thought it would be productive. I just don't see that being the case in El Paso. Maybe if there were a "Christians Only" event. Plenty of Fish has hosted a speed-dating event in EP before, and I considered attending it, and then I remembered the majority of the types of women I was seeing on Plenty of Fish, and promptly stopped considering it.

I have considered this actually. I had considered picking something more 'me'. When i made this one i was trying to think of something more acceptable than what i would have likely picked. You know, something to impress the ladies with. But, since trying to think of something new... i haven't thought of one yet. Or maybe something more refined and dignified could work. Like, SirUgly.

Considering your longevity, continual positive (albiet blunt) contributions, and overall presence here, I'm sure Robo could make it happen. I mean, you CAN make it happen by shuttering one account and starting another (much like Rose did at one point), but I think the stats under your name/avatar say an awful lot about the kind of person you are and who we all see you as, and I think you should get to keep that stuff. Can't hurt to ask, man.

1. What is your favorite dessert?

2. What is your favorite breakfast food?

1. Khao-niao mamuang (a Thai dessert made of warm sticky rice sweetened with coconut cream and cold, sliced, fresh mango). Also bacon.
2. Bacon.

Everyone: Do you have a scar with a funny, not-embarrassing-or-painful story behind it?

Yes.

problem was I caught it as it was falling along the serrated edge...so it literally just sawed into my hand on the way down.

I literally gasped out loud in imaginary pain as I read this. If my ex-roommate's cat still lived here, she would have dashed out of the room from the noise I made.

Grace-Like-Rain: Might I inquire as to a general area of Texas you are in? You don't have to post it publicly. Or even answer, I suppose. Just curious.

Your kidding right? I think that if she doesn't mention Texas in every post that she might explode. It actually may be a law in Texas. What do you expect from a state that builds a football stadium with a hole in the roof, just so God can watch his favorite team? The Dallas Cowboys. How about them Cowboys!

Ice cream, and ice cream :p

Seriously, I'd say mushrooms fried in a little garlic for dinner, and Granola for breakfast.

Let me see here...

Oceangrl, where have you been? I've missed you around the place. :)

JimmyDiggs, what will it take to get you to come into the Single Forum more often? Also, What rank are you in your family? As in, oldest, youngest, middle, etc.

XxErraticEmilyxX, are you interested in graph design? For some reason I always think "Emily is a graphic designer", and now my brain won't quit it.

Oncefallen, you mentioned at one point you have or had a cat. what was its name? If the name was embarrassingly childish, you can just disregard this :D

I may think of some more later.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I am. Graphic design, Web design, interior design, and architectural design are all up my alley.

I actually lived in Texas for a spell. (Catch the southern speak?) I lived in Midland Texas the same time that Baby Jessica McClure was dropped down that dry well. I also have kinfolk in Odessa and Sweetwater, the rattlesnake capital.

Graphic design and web design go hand-in-hand but interior design and architectural design are completely different disciplines. Good on you, Emily. :)

Sweet. And, just to clarify, I do not have a Texas flag tattoo. But I am from Texas and currently reside in the land of big egos and big hair. ^_^

xxEExx --What got you to liking Link ? And, have u solved any those Linkian adventures? NES? Super NES? Cube? Wii? DS?
Link is my favorite hero because he represents a regular guy who does extraordinary things. Even though he's not skilled with adventurer-type features, he is still the chosen one and the only person who can do what he is destined to do. And of course, every Zelda fan knows that Link possesses the triforce of courage. Courage keeps you fighting even if you are afraid, and we can ask God for that gift every day.

My apologies. I've been going back and forth so much between the threads that I lost track of my thoughts. It's all Julliana's fault! She keeps changing her avatar so much that I can't stay focused.

It's not like it takes much to derail my train of thought anyway.

Hi Emily, yes. There's a Belgian cartoon character called Tintin. He's a detective/reporter who solves mysteries, travels the world and rights wrongs. His companions are an middle-aged sea captain, Captain Haddock and his faithful terrier, Snowy. I've been a big fan of his adventures ever since I was 7 years old. The first adventure was published in 1929 and the most recent (complete) adventure was published in 1976. You could understand much of the 20th century and the world just by reading the comic books.

There was a fairly recent movie made based on several of the books.

Two questions for everyone:

1. What is your favorite dessert?

2. What is your favorite breakfast food?

This is important because I'm so very hungry right now, but can't stand to eat one more squirrel.
Hmm... hard to say. Typically something chocolate oriented... cake, pie, ice cream, cookies... though i have backed off the sweets a lot.

Wow... its a toss up between French toast with eggs and bacon.... breakfast burritos (especially from A's Burgers in S CA)... or ham and cheese crepes from Wafflehouse.

Question from Nod to Jullianna-Since your the former po po do you watch the show cops?

I love cop shows and movies. Few of them are realistic though. :)

Some of my all-time favorite shows/movies:
Miami Vice, SWAT, Lethal Weapon series, Die Hard series, 24, NCIS (the original, NOT the LA version) and I love, love, love, love, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this new one! :)

I found out today they had to stop filming COPS. Because it lost popularity? Nope. They took so much heat from black people complaining the show made black people look bad, they gave in after pushing through the pressure.
