I'd like to find some people and help each other build cob houses!! I've looked all
Over the Internet for this .. Have " yet" to find to find people working together to do this ..how fun it would be to travel and do this ..,a set up for re next group that comes along .. Sort of like nomadic living but travelers have places to stay.. I've always thought .. " you know if groups everywhere did this , how much freedome we would gain .. Patch up repairs as needed for your time there.. then move along to the next place .. ha I guess
I'm a big dreamer .. But I'd get my hands in it in a second if I found it ..
Well,I simply adore corn on the cob & will gladly send you all my left over cobs. Consider it done!

If I ever get to the point where I can own my own land, I'll let you know so you can make plans to come down and help me build a small house. Maybe not cob style, but still small. And we can camp through the night.

Well, I have always loved the Swiss Family Robinson, and the home in both latest movie, and the one from the 50's or 60's has always appealed to me. But, I may need something a little more practical for animals and people who come to visit my studio that will also be on the land. I'm totally dreaming, aren't I. But hey, It's good to have dreams. They give you goals.

But for now it's: "Hi ho, hi ho, It's off to work I go."

Some interesting thing about myself are:

-I love GOD so much and He is everything to me.
-I'm honest and I will say the truth despite the situation or circumstances.
-My mission on earth is to help all those who are in needs whether, material need, financial need, spiritual need, physical need etc.
- I'm not good in visiting people even though I do it some times.

I have a need. Can you just pray for me and that I have patience while my back heals.

Hmm, did I ask God lately to teach me patience? I'm afraid the answer might be yes. Yikes.

Is this the same as slolem water skiing? I've always wanted to do it .. Never tried .. My dad lives in Alaska an sent me some hand made Eskimo snow shoes.. I've always thought how fun it would be to do a little back country scouting this way.. Snow mobiles and jet skis are my favorite.. And I'd love to have a sand dune buggy!!!!!! Ooh my adventurous side is aching to do something ...I feel a hike with camping gear coming on!! Thanks I needed this read..cooking a fish over a campfire sounds wonderful!
Time is closely arriving to do so !
Response to a post from another thread. Thought it fit here better and didn't want to derail their thread.

Water-skiing and snowboarding require some different skills but they are very similar because of the use of balance. For the most part, in water-skiing you are focusing on one direction, forward, and learning how to pop up out of the water to the top of the water is tough. I hear it is lot like skiing once you get on top of he water. With snowboarding, you can slide in any direction 360 degrees. Once you get moving it is easier to maintain one direction although you can change to sideways, backwards, or whichever direction you want. Slalom snowboarding is a lot of fun. One of my favorite things is to whip down a hill really fast back and forth til I either make it to the bottom or wipe out. lol I suspect that you would like it a lot. It is definitely a thrill seeker's sport.
I have never water-skiied, snow mobiled, or dune buggied but all of those sound like a blast.
Back in my high school days I did a lot of skateboarding. I hopped on one back in January and discovered that I can still do it. I'm such a kid at heart when it comes to certain things. lol
A friend of mine moved to Hawaii this past year and we are in the talks of me coming for a visit. I have always wanted to learn to surf in either California or Hawaii or somewhere the REAL waves are.
Even though I live right in the big city limits, when the weather is warm I usually cook my dinner on my stone fire pit in the back yard. I am one of the only people in the city limits that has a fire pit. I looked up all the city regulations before I built it and everyone around always asks, "How can you have one of these in the city?" lol
Anyways, I have rambled on long enough. It is cool to find out that you like all of these kinds of things too, Michelle. It is nice to find out that someone else shares in my bizarre interests. lol

I'm a sharer (Unless it's Dairy Queen ice cream. That stuff is MINE. :p). Maybe awkwardly so. For example, some friends and I went out to eat the other week and I ordered an iced coffee. It was really good, and I offered those around me to try some if they wanted. Some of the girls took sips, but the guy passed. He has a girlfriend and I thought "Maybe I shouldn't have offered..." but I also didn't want to leave him out since I was asking the other people around me. I feel like I'm 5 when I say I like sharing, ha. Then again, there are many things about me that are like a 5 year old (coloring books and bubbles, to name some) so I guess it's okay. :)

Ive thought about buying a kyak what kind do you have ?

I do not have expensive ones. I bought 2 -- made of plastic. lightweight and durable. The beaches here are often very rocky with sharp as razor barnacles growing on those rocks. My kayaks are tough enough to scrape across them without doing to much damage. its all about the adventure, and less about technigue trust me!!

I went on a nine mile canoe trip one summer .. I wasn't sure I could paddle the whole way, the water was a bit low so I ended up having to carry the canoe on my head through some low spots a few places.. It was so much fun and really seemed I had only traveled feet instead of miles.. you're right !!
Just "do it!!!"

I used to go to a summer camp called Camp Nazareth. For all us poor inner city kids...they'd bus our little rumps out into the Adirondacks for 8 hrs a day & this fat little man would get to swim make arts & crafts, ride horseys & shoot arrows. Ohhhh mama! Good times! Speaking of canoes...I remember we had an overnight weekend...& we paddled out to an island in a canoe & nearly tipped over like 3 or 4 times. I always remember feeling much safer in a row boat. Maybe due to my girth? lol
Loved archery...I got pretty good too. Ok sorry 'bout that..sorta hijacked yer' NIKE swish moment. Just the mention of canoes brought that back to me.

I once "juggled" a soccer ball over a thousand times. Juggling in the world of soccer means that you kick a ball in the air... over and over again with your feet, head, chest... anything actually as long as its not your hands arms.. but shoulders are okay.

I think it was about 1200 just to be more accurate. :D

Naw... you didn't derail this one. It is all interesting stuff about who you are.
By the way, when you are all ready to build I have the land picked out. I'm a builder by trade too so you can be sure that I'm in. :p
