Hmmm I must've accidentally clicked on the bible discussion forum
I don't normally give this many details about stuff Gabe, but since I was the one who suggested it to Emily in the first place, I thought it best to say all that :).

So I feel bad for leaving... But at the same time I'm glad I did. Does that make me a bad person if I can feel pulled by both sides? I mean, I may not have the best ways to deal with situations when it comes to other people, but I think the one I've been in was far from being saved at that point. -shrugs-

I do question the morality as well as if I really feel anything for other people and I'm not going to lie on that. It scares me sometimes. I'm used to the solo life anyway, so it won't hurt anyone.

perhaps.

and i would naturally assume you're exempting yourself from the aforementioned group??? : )

No perhapses, you gotta know.
and you mustn't force me to teach what happens when one assumes.
But you are correct, I happen to fall short of qualifying for the category of "benevolent ladies."
I can pretty sure of this because I took the "when will you get pregnant" test on Facebook once and it said I would never get pregnant so...
Now you gonna stop entertaining yourself by making me look up big words?

Talking about viruses, how normal is it for a fever to develop into a cold (or whatever) and then for it to create asthma-like symptoms later down the track, in a person who has no history of asthma? Because that's what I have. I generally eat healthily and I rarely get sick but this sickness has lasted 6 six days now. I hope I'm near the end.

If you have a fever, there is a good chance that you have a bacterial infection. What color is your mucus when you blow your nose? If it is yellowish or green, you need antibiotics. If it isn't, you need an expectorant, which means it will break up the mucus and junk and help your coughs be productive.

Spray your house down with Lysol (or an equivalent). Don't forget door handles, the toilet, and your phone(s). Do this even if your mucus is still clear.

There are homeopathic things you can do, but they are hit and miss and not as effective if you have a genuine infection. Sometimes we need modern science to get us through. :)

I take it back! Do EVERYTHING AzureFire says! The woman is a trained professional. :D

Although I do think the lysol is a good idea. And wash your sheets in hot water. Kill those germs!

Good evening/morning (?) all!
made it through another week...it was real...kind of different, in a weird sort of way.

Spent some time with an old friend Monday. A stubborn non-Christian. I once told him of my finding the Lord, he instantly threw out the shield- "now you know how I feel about that" he says. After seeing what all I've been through, you'd think he would understand. He started wearing off on me, I was there all day watching sports. And caught myself talking like him, occasional cursing. I still feel bad about that, in that if someone asked, he could say I was even though a Christian. I know he's not like that, but it just bothers me, how quickly and easily we can be brought down. I felt the pull of Satan this week, so I went to our Wed. night prayer meeting.

Hmmm the guy came down looked at the car with his buddy. Willing to buy the car right away. But there is a process of turning the car over...!? I need the car until at least Monday for work. Near the end, I got the impression that he has plans to go away for the long weekend and wanted a car for it. Not that easy buddy. He's getting back to me tonight.
Add a hundred to the price and take a cab to work. (the extra hundred pays for the cab)

You're welcome.

I now wonder if I have ever really felt chemistry with a guy before. Maybe it was my need for attention that drew me to them? Or my inability to say no to someone else's affections? I have a best friend who is the only person I can say anything to who is in stage 4 of kidney disease. He is also a thousand miles away now, but if I ever could fall in complete love with anyone other than God, it would be him.

Haven't caught up on many threads again, been a busy week. I do have something non-foot related to post this time.

My sister is here for a few days. A mutual friend of ours that we worked with in high school lives in the same town as me now, he just moved here as well. Us three hung out last night and tonight we went to a movie and his friend came along too.

I want to hang out with him after my sister leaves, but I'm not sure how. I don't know how I feel about just us two hanging out, besides the fact that I'm not sure that's a good idea in general, I just get... awkward. Like around guys, by myself. But, I don't have any other friends really yet to make it a group setting.

He's not a Christian so I just don't want there to be a wrong impression. I did have a crush on him when I was in high school, and I don't want to develop one now.

Also, on a more personal side note... I'm having a dry spell in my spiritual walk. :/ I know they are normal, I suppose. It just seems to have lasted a while, now.

Also, that guy I had a crush on for the longest time in Illinois... He is apparently dating someone now and they've been talking since June. She's gorgeous. So, it's actual really good timing that I'm where I am now.

Great...if there weren't enough things to keep Mocha upset this morning, we had to add thunder to the list.
