Is anyone in touch with Emily? Any news so far?

Please keep us updated. Deeply distressed.

I wish I could fire my boss. Oh how delightful that would be. 2 more days until I move work homes.

Lord, I pray that you protect Emily right now. That you block out those thoughts and feelings that are not from you. Protect her heart and mind from those lies that are tearing her down Father. Embrace her completely now and may your spirit bring her not just a little, or some, but bring her complete comfort and peace God! Pour your strength into her and bring her refreshing waters God! Can't you see her tears Father? Can't you see her broken heart? Bring her restoration! Bring it now! Do not withhold your love and peace from her any longer! Protect her soul Lord. Show her that you care. Show her how precious she is to you. I pray all this in Jesus name.

Last night, I woke up at 3 AM to the loud crash of glass breaking. My first instinct was to yank my covers up above my head, because they will protect me from anything. I just lay there, heart pounding, listening for something else. My phone buzzed and I figured it was my roommate texting me, who else would that late? It was. She said, "I was going to wait until morning to check, but it sounded pretty loud. Should we check in case it's a robber?" I texted her back, "Yes. Grab your pan." She keeps a cast iron skillet under her bed, I just found this out yesterday ironically, because I suppose it's the heaviest weapon she has in the house. I slipped out of bed and grabbed my flashlight, which didn't even end up working but I figured I could use it as a weapon if need be. We met in the hallway and turned the corner to go to the living room. We turned on the lights.

Those. Stupid. Cats. Again.

They had knocked over a glass candle holder off the fireplace mantle. And they were just laying on the floor by the mess, as if they had done nothing wrong.

I said some...unkindly words about said cats and then we went back to bed and I cleaned up the mess in the morning. I figured it was the cats, but there was that little voice in the back of my head that said, "What if it wasn't?"

I'm exhausted now because even though it turned out to be nothing, my heart was still beating fast and it took me a while to fall back asleep. Two nights in a row! What kind of sick game is this, cats??

---------------------------

I read ww_21's post at lunch today and I've been thinking about her all afternoon. Praying she responds here.

--------------------------

I recorded my song after work. It's not perfect but I'm pretty proud of it. I'm uploading the video to YouTube now. I forgot how long that takes.

This is a beautiful prayer. I feel better myself for just reading it. This prayer is very powerful.

Funny story Rachel :D, but in the future please don't you or your roommate go looking for a robber with only a frying pan. What if he has a gun?

I suggest getting one of those inexpensive door alarms that go off when the door is opened and use those instead. They even sell them at walmart now. Here's what they look like..

AND put fake security/alarm stickers on your doors and windows. These are fake but they look just like the real thing..

If you guys could keep me in your prayers I'd appreciate it.

A couple of hours after I said "I'm back" something happened I'll definitely be touching on in my explanation. It may be a little later though.

I just wanted to say that even if I never see some of you again, I love you and thank you for everything.
emmy, i've tried every means i know how to get a hold of you over the last 24 hours.

we are very concerned about you, and would really appreciate it if you would please get in touch with me (or someone else here) and let us know how you are.

i know many of us are thinking of you, praying for you.

i pray that you are finding solace and comfort in Him, despite this storm. even during the dark times, He is always with you.

you are His beloved daughter, and have have not been forgotten or left out--in spite of your struggles. He has great plans for you emmy!

and, of course, you remain close to us, in our hearts. *hugs*

It took about 4.5 hours for my video to be at 70% uploaded and then my computer decides to restart itself without asking me so all of that progress was lost.

*Flips table*

I guess it will just have to upload overnight.

Lame is in the eye of the beholder... or something... or not. Never mind, I just confused myself. Forget it.

Best line from the entire Muppets show history was from the two old guys in the balcony seats. "That was what we call a medium sketch." "A medium sketch?" "Well it wasn't rare, and it certainly wasn't well done!"

I love when things match up. It feels like my heart just bursts with feelings of contentment. Found a great band. Found a perfect folk song for a cool drizzly fallish night, all day has been filled with cinnamon, spice and pumpkin :)
