I was so bored that I actually went into the bible discussion forum just now.. it didn't take long before I was quickly reminded of why I don't go in there.
o_O That must have been some boredom. If you're that bored come over and help me run some audio projects.

In local news I got a good night's sleep, ate some hard-boiled eggs with sharp cheddar for breakfast... and I want to go back to bed. It's raining here, the steady, mildly heavy rain that goes on for hours. Days like this are good for taking long naps. Unfortunately I can't seem to get the boss at work to see it that way.

Back to mornings this week at work. Lots of coffee. Woke up snort-laughing (you know..that type of laugh when you snort?) this morning again at whatever I dreamt of. I'm not one to talk in my sleep. I'm quiet as a mouse. No snoring. But I laugh.

For martyrs of Christ- Each are given a white robe to signify righteousness.
1. God provides a place of refuge- protection- covered in the sight of God- They are under the alter and protected by the blood of Christ.
2. They are given rest while they await for God to avenge them.
3. Retribution- God will judge those that hurt his faithful servants. He will execute justice against the evil that had been done.
4.Reward- The martyrd saints will be honored on earth and in heaven. Revelation 20:4-5--
And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
This goes out to those who are martyrd in the tribulation period ( which very much could be happening now).

Summer of 2005- Two Bangladeshians showing a Jesus film in their home were attacked and killed with machetes in their homes.
*A Christian is martyrd every 4-5 minutes

In North Korea it is illegal to be Christian- and many are sent to labor camps for their faith.

---Sorry I'm lame and was listening to a sermon so there are the notes lol

So this was kinda rich. A couple of hours ago there's this guy out by the roll off dumpster/compactor thing throwing piles of trash in the compactor from a restaurant. Apparently, over the weekend, the trash never got emptied and the restaurant piled up their trash all around the dumpster and the stairs leading down to it and everywhere. It was a pile of trash bags taller than the guy. So it's all wet trash and he's picking the trash bags up and they're falling open and there's maggots and it's a real horror show. So I tell him I have a pair of rubber gloves and would help out and so we're throwing this stuff in the dumpster and it's truly gross. He tears open his glove and he says a maggot got in there and he says he's a cook and not even supposed to do this kind of thing, so he goes and says he's going to get a new pair. Now, normally maggots don't really bother me too much (sometime they kinda tickle on the inside of your mouth - jkng) but I know they gross out a lot of people and I find that entertaining because....well, i don't know why but it's the same reason reason I do stuff like this....

hey Shour - do you want some cantaloupe?

cantelope.jpg

ok - back to the story. So anyway, the guy doesn't come back! I went ahead and finished up and another guy from one of the warehouses helps! Can you believe that? So here's two guys with nothing to do with the restaurant - and believe me, I wouldn't eat there when the food's FRESH - cleaning up last Fridays specials (because they were made last wednesday from food that expired on Monday).

I...am learning to cook.

I made flatbread the other night...with arugula hazelnut pesto (that I made!), sweet cherry pepper relish (that I made!), and goat cheese (that I did NOT make!).

It was pretty epic.

Aaaaagh. I thought Mocha was doing better and now he's not. This is stupid. Why did he have to be so stubborn and not let me put anything in his ear?

I haven't given an update on myself in awhile. Or really been on CC that much, for that matter.

Work-wise, it's going VERY well. The training program I'm in started when I started back in mid-July. How training works is that the training class pulls in live insurance policies from all across the country where there are agencies. An "assignment" is what I will get when I am out of training, which means instead of working things that are from any agency, I will be working with specific states or agents. Right now, I am learning one line of business, and that training was supposed to go until November or so. Then I would work that line of business on my own for a few weeks before learning the other line of business as well (half day working line I already learned, half day training on new line).

Over a week ago, I had a meeting with my supervisor that was to inform me that I'd be put on a "Fast Track" training program because the trainers believed that I (along with another trainee) were learning quickly and able to move at a faster pace in training topics. I was told I'd be done with training and receive an assignment on October 27th. I was pretty taken aback, I had thought I wouldn't get an assignment for another 3 months! But, I was excited.

Then, last Friday, my supervisor came and got me and took me to his office. He told me that the trainers approached him and said they thought I was ready for my own assignment! So, today, I received my own assignment. It is starting out small so as not to overwhelm me. As I learn the few topics left, the policies I will work on (which are audited during my training since they are real policies) will be from my assignment instead of random ones pulled from everywhere.

So, whew! It's been quite a whirlwind this past week or so!

Other than that....spiritually I'm a mess. Lately I've also been a mess emotionally as well, really dealing with some anger, and I suppose the two are connected.

But, work has been going well, so I'm glad about that. :)

Dan, my australian shepherd, beats all I've ever seen for jealousy. I walked down to Uncle Fred's to deliver some bluegrass gospel CDs he had requested. Dan saw where I was headed, ran down to Fred's and promptly filed himself under Fred's minivan, and there he was content to lie... until my other dog ran up. Then Dan got worried that the other dog would get petted and he wouldn't so he unfiled himself from where he was and started getting in my way as I was trying to walk.

This is just one of the reasons I prefer cats.

I love all of my fur babies. Right now I'm preferring dogs because my cat made messes on my bed. -_-

Hmm... I've never had a problem with that myself so I don't know what you should do. I know what I'd do if a cat of mine did that though... outside! Stay!

Yeah, he's not allowed in my room anymore.

Right down the road from my mom's house, a tree fell and killed a man this morning. Fortunately for me, I didn't stay at my mom's last night, and so, didn't have to worry about the tree. Hmm, I am this tonight. Maybe I should take the other route tomorrow.

And the Ironic thing was it was supposedly outside an old cemetery.

wow..that's sad..and creepy that it happened outside a cemetery. Then again, it IS a full moon tonight.. they say strange things happen during a full moon. Dunno how true that is, though. LOL. :)

Wait, did you say it was a full moon. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
They were saying in the news report how they were saying it was potential for a tornado to start up. I have to admit, during the middle of school, I ended up going to look at the ski, because one of the clouds had a slightly v shape to it. But I decided it was nothing major as there was no rotation. Not mention it was slightly quiet.

Yeppers, it's a full moon tonight. I've heard it's usually deathly quiet before a tornado hits. And sometimes the sky has a yellowish tinge to it. That's what happens here just before we get a storm, anyway.

Here, when it becomes nasty, you'll see a sickly green tinge. And it wasn't deathly quiet. Not like a tornado quiet. It was just a quiet storm/shower where I was.

A totally amateur woman driver crashed into my car in the morning. Evidently she was poorly trained and worse, she thought that she was a good driver. She was switching lanes without looking at the right-side mirror (in India we drive on the left side of the road). I was following another car and she tried to sandwich her car in between. I kept honking and the "idiot" (I can't swear) didn't even bother to check. WHAM! And she kept driving! My front bumper had some bad scratches but thankfully there were no dents. If I have to get it repaired, this is going to cost me USD 1,000. Hopefully the car insurance will cover it but I don't have an FIR since it was a 'hit-and-run'.

SOME PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER DRIVE!!
