God only allows us to tempted (not gives us) up to the point we cant handle, and then he always gives us an escape from the temptation.

Our church has moved away from hymn worship, we don't sing 'How Great Thou Art' in our morning services anymore. It's interesting, I guess, that's the way of the world, not that I don't like '10,000 reasons,' and, other pop songs, I like them, but, I think, it's important there is a mix, I'm praying about this, my pastor is my age, I'm thinking of telling him this. Last week, in service, he said a big word wrong (pronunciation) and I went up after the service and told him proper way to say word. I don't say this to gloat, we are supposed to help out our pastor when someting you're decent at comes into schedule, or, maybe, it was just the Lord's leading, no, it was His leading, but I am just saying that we need to listen to the voice inside us, that is Him, when something just comes up, now, in my church, around 100,000 people hear my pastor speak since we are on regular stations like TBN, church tv, , and, I was attending the first of THREE services so going up there and mentioning the correct pronunciation of the word was something I felt strongly to do. around 2,000 people, give or take a few hundred, attend each of the first three services so it was interesting that no one else was beating me up there to tell the pastor the mispronunciation and during the service when he pronounced this word, he even said 'I hope I am saying this word right,' and, no one said a word. Idk, I just believe in the Lord's leading and His grace and mercy and Love and revelation is shown us all in ways that we will not see UNLESS we have faith in Him, in what He's doing in our life to help others, even our pastors . :)

Your pastor needs your support, it's right up there with doctors, firefighters, for stress jobs, I think, you really have to be quite the person, in so many ways, to take on being a shepherd over a flock of folks who are sheep. Your pastor, in Jesus' eyes, is a 'sheep,' too, but, imagine that, in YOUR church setting, your PASTOR is the shepherd, a role that is tough on him, sometimes, and, so, go up and encourage your pastor tomorrow after church, hey, if nothing else, say, 'Great message, bro, it really hit home.' :)
Thanks Greennice, I do not attend Church as a building and my pastor is Christ. I do go when I am called to go, and do say what is needed to be said, ad it has not always turned out for the good, with flesh of others in the way. Yet anyway I know I did what I was called to do, and will not hesitate whenever called again. God leads

There is something about the word, 'love,' I can't explain it but, I know He can and will to you. The Lord leads, we should bring that word into the forefront of our lives, and, IF we live with mom and dad still, then, we should be nightly making certain we say, 'Love you, mom,' and, 'Love you, dad.' There is something within us that chinks, chimes, hummmms, I think, when we really PRACTICE the 'love' word to others, I think, His Spirit can be seen at work, like Hebrews 11:1 :)

And, IF we live a farther distance from mom and dad, but, in same state, we should, at least once, show our love by showing up there a time or two a month, and, if an hour a way, more often than that, for sure. Again, the Lord leads, we need to see our parents in more light than the commandment revering them in Scripture, I think. I think when Scripture says, 'Honor you father and mother,' there is more to it than just acknowledgment to their opinion of your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your attitude toward something that they don't agree with, etc. there is also an element of love that goes beyond mere action of acknowledgment and we need to bring that ackowledgment to ACK-tion. This can only be done to by our remembering His Love for us and translating that into our Love for others :)

The Lord leads, church is wherever we are with the Lord, He leads, but, make no mistake, we are to follow Him and Scripture says to not 'forsake' the assembly, so, fellowship with others however He leads you :)

Disclosure: I can't actually listen to this song, I clicked on it, reecebuddy, and, nothing happened, probably my computer, but, all it did was do nothing. But, I believe in your passion and that's why I 'liked' your post. Keep serving Him, Jesus came to serve Him, to do things in His Father's will and authority. We should ONLY want to do the same, and, passionately so . We should want the passion of Christ embodying and embedding every single facet of our life, shining for Him , for His glory, in what we do, we want to see God be glorified :)

It's funny how cute guys can lose their cuteness when their dullness increases. Someone should make a graph :p

I often wonder what people put in the search bar to come up with JUST the right meme or animated gif to support the point that they are trying to make.

Google "Meme Maker"......Create them on the fly if you can't find one that says what you want

Monday won't be so glorious for me...first day of school (thankfully my last round of high school)!!

It's still hard to believe I'm a senior. But I guess it will become real when I'm holding a diploma in my hand, thinking to myself, "I made it. After so long, I made it!"

I'm going on a date this Wednesday night. My first one ever. Just thought you all should know. :)

I signed up for CM a little over a month ago, just to see, really, and someone messaged me and we've been talking for about a month now. We're meeting this Wednesday. We're meeting in a public restaurant, I'm bringing my mace in my pocket just in case (my mom encouraged me on that ) and we're meeting about halfway for both of us, which is about an hour's drive each.

I actually debated whether or not to post that on here. If it ends up being a flop, then...it would just have seemed pointless to post it in the first place. But then I thought, "Might as well, why not" because either way, I know you guys will be supportive, so...here it is. I'm nervous, but at the same time, I'm feeling "Eh, whatever happens, happens." If it's totally awkward then it's just one night of my life. If it's great, then...it's great.

Feral cats hang around our barn and I'm happy about that. They keep the rodents down from all the spilled feed and I feed them cat food to keep them coming. They've been around a long time too - got a few 3rd and 4th generation cats. Feeding time is about the only time they come near me. I can even scratch a couple of backs during those times without getting swatted at. The rest of the time they stay well clear. Sometimes I'lll walk down that way and see four or five cats darting in all different directions just from my walking down there; the same person as always. It's like theyr'e yelling "Run for your lives!!! The man who feeds us and scratches our backs and love us is coming!!! RUN!!! SAVE YOURSELF!!".

I bet God feels that ways sometimes.

It's kinda pathetic how even in my dreams the one I have eyes for seems to slip from my reach... But, waking up without actually disturbing my "little brother" was what redeemed my night. Three times, I woke up and threes times, I found him by my side sleeping. I must have been comfortable to actually have not moved at all. I'll share a picture of him.

Thanks and the assembly for me is in the heavens with all the Saints, where the meat of the word is at, in God's tabernacle not man's. And for the word Love
