Though, my personal opinion is that it's sort of laughable. It reminds me of when God says 'and you shall have dominion over her'. I mean, there's this whole women's power movement thing going on and yet the only thing most single women really want in men at a purely physical, primal level, is a guy to be so dominant they fall at his feet (albeit subversively and willingly).
Yeah, that's not in the Bible. And the rest sounds like it's from 50 Shades.
Genesis 3

[SUP]16 [/SUP]To the woman he said,
“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;
with painful labor you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you.”

That's a for the Bible discussion forum, not singles.

I wonder why people use machines they know nothing about, and then call us saying they are broken

ie
machine says "Replace black toner now"
user repalces toner
machine says "Replace black drum now"
they call us and say 'the machine isn't working, we replaced the toner, but it still says we need to replace it'
(so... the difference in toner vs drum didnt tip you off it could be something else?)

This article has got it all wrong, it's not happiness that makes men unattractive, it's smiling, which is why I have never smiled.
That's understandable, judging from your avatar you don't even have a mouth to smile with... ;)

Personally, I'd rather be with a happy, smiling man. I've been with brooding, "fixer uppers", and I've learned that 1) I don't like codependency and 2) I can't truly fix anyone. A lot of women like the brooding guy because she thinks she can help or fix. It comes down to her feeling that she's needed.

We're all unhealthy to some extent. I wonder if the study offers social commentary.

I need to name a trendy and snooty country club. Help me out! Does anyone have any ideas?

It's mostly implied in the title. It doesn't have to be a country club, but it's along those snobby lines.
i'jm not sure if these are subtle enough for you. frankly they all sound a lot like clubs i've competed at.

stilted spruce circle
victory elm way
lofty acres
prosperity pines

the formula seems to be:

self-congratulatory adjective + botanical or geographical name = club name

Thank you! And you're right about the formula. You should copyright it. :D
