People pay to see the wilderness. Sadly some of us live here.
Amazing John the Baptist did do exactly this, by Choice. You know he was raised up in all the Law. he knew it fron and back and sides, and gave that all up to be the voice crying in the wilderness, amazing yes?
I think very important to not ignore God, you think? Not saying you are. That is strictly between God and you.
Just by your post it drew me in seeing deeper about John, giving up the Status Que of being honored by man in doing the rich mans work, and having all the glamor of the people here in this world. Just saying

I am most thankful for 3 things:

1. My salvation
2. My son
3. My divorce

They are all my blessings, and I don't care if you (or the majority of Christian authors) disagree.
He, Christ came to set the captives free: From what?
Matthew 6:27 Will all your worries add a single moment to your life?

So now just love him from a distance, no matter what. Glad you are free from the stress and worry that was killing you and maybe him as well. praying you are friends now

Sooo, today is my first day doing Sunday morning praise and worship since Mother's day. I feel like backing out last minute...argh. I don't feel ready.
Sis, if I may, then go when you are at peace about it, you decide, no matter what you are loved. Maybe God is just waiting for our response in peace to that fact, while we all face tragedies her ein this life here on earth
My condolences to you, in your loss

My son came to sit beside me here a few minutes ago...we've been awake for maybe twenty minutes, so we're both sort of acting like zombies, flopped on the couch. He leaned against me, and I was sort of absentmindedly brushing his hair off his forehead, and he looked up at me and said, "Mom, stop that. You have to go get your coffee and drink it and then drink another coffee so you can do important stuff and cook me pancakes. I want coffee too. Bring me coffee."

And then he moved over, laid down on his back and put his feet up in my lap. He saw me staring at him and he said, "I forgot to say please. Please can I have coffee?"

Is it really sad if I'm more likely to give him coffee than make pancakes?
Now that is cute, one for the memories, of exciting Joy, while in the struggle to move on through, being so to speak caught in the middle, between the "A" and the "Z". Just move on to the "Z" and be content, knowing you will get through this.
Keep the Kodak moments to stay away from the stress and worry that causes one in my opinion to be out of alignment with the truth from God to you, personally.

Feeling alone. Bible study was on original sin, and I have a different taking on some of their points. I hate that dismissive attitude that gets directed at me from people who are either unwilling or incapable of comprehending another point of view. I don't care if they agree, I just want to be taken seriously. How is it wrong for me not to simply parrot what amounts to theological hearsay?
If something is wrong in your Spirit then something is not right for you as others see differently, that is okay, yet not for anyone to force on the other

a good example is one prescribed pill does not work the same for all.

Sigh,....Yesterday I was so happy in God. I had great fellowship, all was going well and I felt quite loved.
Today, I am still loved, still quite blessed, but all I can see is the thing that didn't go exactly the way I'd like for it to.

Pray for me friends,..That I find my Joy in the Lord again today, and everyday, that I trust him to take care of me, That I don't let this thing get me down. Especially since I know it happened for the better. I'm just pouting, in a sense. I'm sad. Lame, right?

Sigh.

Try not to take it personal Misty. Easier said than done. Imagine how alone Jesus felt. That's the only thing that keeps me going, because I pretty much feel alone in how I view most thing's aside from a few people that seem to connect with me or give me the time of day.
So then maybe connect by agreeing to disagree and take all to God to straighten each of us out if we are wrong in our thought of.
I think if we ask God, I think god will show us truth that keeps us in balance, and so be who you are, in response to God's love. and just love maybe?

Everyone goes through this to a greater or lesser degree when things don't go the way they'd like them to, even when they know it's for the best. Just remember that no earthly things bring any kind of lasting happiness or joy, and what God has for us is so much better than anything we want in the here and now.

Also, maybe have some chocolate.

*hugs*

Rough morning. I stayed home alone from church to sleep and cry.
That is good to know in this sense:
Your Balloon is not now going to pop, crying is a good relief to see clearly afterwords, so maybe count this as a good thing. We are flesh and blood and can only take so much. So it is good to cry, it is a vent in not getting one's baloon to full of hot air that will pop, when it is toooo full.
I think that is why Jesus said to cast our cares on his Father, and is well to do as well to friends, except for those that tell others your business. And is why Paul said to not Gossip. Most of us think it okay to talk about others behind their backs as long as we aren't talked about behind ours, right?
So no matter if others do this, I personally as learned today see it not fruitful to gossip at all
You are loved by God and God's children, not condemned.

Has you ever though about how santa could also spell satan?
You know how santa eat the milk and cookies? That reminds me of the bread and wine used to represent Jesus' body and blood.
Why does he come down a chimney (where flames are made)?
Why is he dressed in red? Are elves supposed to be like demons? Ever notice how if you're good you're supposed to get presents and if you're naughty you get coal? Isn't that like going heaven or hell based on a person's actions? And why does he look like what many people think God looks like? Is santa supposed to be some kind form of satan?

What do you guys think?
Take the "N" out of Santa and put it on the end and you get Stan's claws. that is just what i see, great insight Sis

Thanks friends <3 It's family stuff. More lies from my brother. That's how it's been since he started dating this girl. We used to be such good friends but it's like I don't know him any more.
Prayers for you have peace over this no matter what it appears to look like or is, Sis

"God is the only comfort, He is also the supreme terror: the thing we most need and the thing we most want to hide from. He is our only possible ally, and we have made ourselves His enemies. Some people talk as if meeting the gaze of absolute goodness would be fun. They need to think again. They are still only playing with religion. Goodness is either the great safety or the great danger—according to the way you react to it. And we have reacted the wrong way."C.S. Lewis

Okay, I REALLY hate to ask. I don't want to spark a debate. If it does, blame me. I see the disputes for and against Original Sin all the time....but what the heck is it?? I mean, I agree it took one stupid move for the world to fall. But usually there's more to it than what's in the title (like Word of Faith doctrine....the phrase "Word of faith" is in the bible in Romans. I agreed with THAT Word of Faith. But I didn't even know what all Word of Faith had in it until I came on here).
If I may say Sis, I think you are just a growing and are willing to, Show as you do, God in you that just love you, teaches you. you think, can you rejoice in that alone

It's frustrating and painful when someone you care a lot about is hurting, and you know it has something to do with you even if it's not your fault, and you can't....just...fix it, because they've shut you out.

The Lord is able to fix anything. Even a broken heart.
