I just want to clarify that the "Kim" in Lynx's post was NOT me.
I myself was always pretty doggone sure that Lynx was some sort of Native American/Filippino/Dutch and French Canadian mix.
So what if he looks "white"? A lot of people do nowadays. I could be right on the money!
(Take me for instance... I "look" Asian, but technically, I'm actually white!)
Actually... this reminds of me of a popular late-night DJ on a local radio station who definitely "sounded" white. And, his name was actually Tim White.
But, you guessed it... he was actually black... which they managed to make the entire theme of one of his shows because no one would believe that he was black.

You know what always cracks me up? People will ask if I'm Chinese or Japanese... and after that they give up... because surely there are only two Asian countries and if you're not from China or Japan... Then they start tossing in random guesses like Mexican, Filipino or Hawaiian...
If I wasn't so utterly annoyed, I might be slightly amused... To me, it's all in the way the person asks. For people who are polite, no problem. For people who act like it's a guessing game or as if they have a right to know... I've always wondered why so many people find it "socially acceptable" to ask or guess "what you are"--as if you're an alien species--if you happen to be neither white nor black.

I thought that one time in different thread you mentioned something about being Japanese. I could be mistaken. Not that it makes any difference to me. You are a wonderful person! I am German/Irish/Scottish by the way.
