What if you like him and he likes you and he is actually a good match for you but because you decide not to pursue it, you never find out? The one thing that people always wonder about when they get older is the "what if's". We don't come across someone that we're attracted to everyday. What have you got to lose? Your pride? Will the world end if it turns out he's not interested? Of course not.

I'm just saying that I'd hate to see you let a chance like this pass by for no good reason. You're young and pretty. This is the time when you should be finding a mate. As we get older our looks fade and our chances of attracting someone begin to diminish. With women its even harder because older men tend to go for younger women and then there's the whole biological clock thing..

Oh come now Dianna. You can out-attract younger women! And you tend to attract much younger men too! I was speaking generally about womankind. There are plenty of women out there like yourself who manage to buck the trend and get even more attractive with age. But as you know, it takes a good amount of effort, discipline and dedication in the staying fit and healthy department - more than what most women care to take on.

Sorry to hijack your thread Arwen, but I have to say one last thing..

Lets not start thinking that its only men (in general) who go for the younger (twenties) of the opposite sex.
Women don't find pudgy and balding older men attractive either. (generally speaking) And yes...I can attest to that through first hand knowledge.

It's non threatening and shows you're interested without you being all alpha female. He is probably prohibited from hitting on women while on the job, so I wouldn't expect him to respond to any 'hints' or 'clues' that usually work out in the wild.
