Hopefully, the Lord will be planning your traveling itinerary for your travels. I love to travel but all of my travel is in the lower 48. Would like to go to Alaska and Hawaii. My wife went to Hawaii in 2008 as part of a wedding party. Stayed for 2 interesting weeks. On the way back the plane stopped in Los Angeles. While sitting in the terminal waiting for a connecting flight to Tampa there was an earthquake. Very memorable trip for sure.
Just a slight correction the earthquake happened on our way to Hawaii and I'm praying don't let CA slip into the sea before our plane takes off... Yes, the trip was very memorable and a great family event.

You are certainly well-traveled.

I went to Niagara Falls in Ontario. Actually, I went there twice. That is the extent of my travel outside of the US. Well, technically. I was born in Germany and lived there 9 months. Alas, no memory of that. As I was born in Europe I can't really say that I traveled there.

Nowadays, my travel seems to be limited to driving to work and back and an occasional trip to the grocery store. I am well-traveled too but I don't seem to be getting anywhere.
Soon we will be homeless and traveling to TN... That should prove to be interesting.. life is an adventure.... it occurred to me that I have no forwarding address. Does that mean I can quit paying bills? I have nowhere to tell them to send them... Guess I will be on the phone a lot making payments by phone...

I don't want anyone to get concerned for us as we are in the process of selling our home so we aren't homeless because we don't have money but because we haven't found a place in TN yet.... Not even an apartment of which I am trying to avoid for any great length of time as want to buy and move into a home and deposit our furniture without having to move it twice. We are o.k. don't panic...

On the way to Tennessee we'll stop at a Walmart and pick up a tent and a camp stove. Pick up a bag of Jet-Puffed marshmallows too. Probably can make s'mores. Graham crackers and Hershey bars. Sing Kumbaya around the campfire. Hopefully, it won't rain.

I will remain calm. You said some prayers, right?

I have said a few and I am trusting in God to help us out. As you know I have found a few homes already and they were taken by someone else and I look at that as God saying not this one. When I call and things work out then I will take it as this is the home He wants us to have. My heart just has to be willing to let the homes go as they slip through my fingers...

Once we have the closing money then things will get really serious and the search will go large... We may even yet have to end up in an apartment for a while but I hope it can be furnished as I really don't want to move our furniture twice.

All's well that ends well. You were right, this home in Tennessee is the home that God wanted us to have.

VIRTURAL DATE NIGHT
CHRISTIAN CHAT ROMANTIC INVITATIONAL

Do you have that certain 'special one' prancing 'round your thoughts that resides in the CC Singles community? Now is your opportunity to invite this member for a virtual date, providing it’s consensual, and that the member is indeed single and not married. However, it may be acceptable to arrange a virtual double date night with a married couple. While we are all adults here there really is no need for an exhaustive list of do’s and don’ts but use your own discretion on the appropriate behavior that may or may occur.

Please be advised though that, like Vegas, what happens here stays here. Feel free to burst into song occasionally but try not to sing out of key. The guys may want to consider bringing a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates, preferably dark to set the mood and the tone for the evening.

NO RULES - JUST RIGHT

"Who knows how much further we'll go on?
Maybe I'll be sorry when you're gone.
I'll take my chances,
I forgot how nice romance is,

I haven't been there for the longest time."
Bleh. Forget the virtual thing. Sick of keyboards and screens. Want real-life interaction. If there was someone on this site with whom I connected, I'd just ask for a more direct line of communication.

Exactly, brother. That's what I did with JesusLives. We exchanged emails, and snail mail and had long nightly phone calls. A couple months later we physically met. It helped living only 120 miles apart. We will celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary later this year. It is very much real life interaction.

The city of Las Vegas has the saying that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. We just got married there but of course we didn't stay. We have been in Tennessee now since Nov 2020.
