Okay, now we're really curious... Laughing too hard? Dropped the mic on your foot? Had too much joy juice and fell off a table? Or did you attempt Mariah Carey and rip a vocal cord?
Oh Dino...nothing as exciting as any of that! That fun stuff happens to my sister! They think it's my gallbladder...how boring! ;) (Painful but boring) Actually my sister fell down hugging some random person and also knocked over a huge planter of fresh flowers! Every week they look worse...just about dead now! My sister is clumsy...

Ah. Here's where I offer unsolicited and irrelevant medical advice based on second-hand anecdotes. Or, humour in really bad taste. Sorry to hear you're suffering. Funny about your sister though. :)

Saturday morning. A whole day with no schedule what so ever. I have too much milk in my fridge. So I will repeat my waffle session from last weekend. There will still be milk left over and I hate throwing food. I therefore will bake some bread. And when I am at it perhaps some buns. While I am waiting for the dough to rise I have my knitting and I started to watch a TV series on Netflix. And voila. Saturday is gone. Tomorrow is teaching and studies again. I think I will survive yet another weekend.

If too much milk, make chocolate pudding. :D Then have chocolate pudding for lunch the next three days or so.

I, on the other hand, have stopped making a pot of chocolate pudding every Sunday afternoon. Grandma's doctor said she was too sweet, so she can't eat sweets, potatoes, my sourdough bread or of course chocolate pudding. This is a shame because just about every Sunday she would ask if the pudding was done before I was through making it - sometimes she would start asking before I started it.

Oh yeah, this thread is about weekend plans... I plan to make a good 45 loaves of sourdough bread this weekend.

The milk has gone sour, so it only suits for waffles and bread.

My stupid phone did it again!!!! Made me nettles with stem fried in butter. She also made rice pudding with liver, raisins and butter. And she had the habit of standing beside the table making sure that everyone ate. Scary experience!!!

Nettles? With stems, yet? Nettles are things to be AVOIDED, not cooked and eaten...

Man, I should have known. The lady who makes rakfisk, and SHE said it was awful. I should have known it would be nettles.

This weekend is over; but have a 9 day vacation start on my next weekend; was hoping to head down to Arkansas, but flooding in Missouri plus the hurricanes may put a damper on that.

Please prayer that I might somehow get down that way along with another unspoken request I have.

My weekend plan is to survive the hurricane and to not lose our home or car.

You really know you are living in the countryside, when the biggest happening is a potato festival. This weekend is the big happening, and I am going to drop there to buy some more yarn and perhaps some stock up on some potatoes and dogfeed for the winter. Today I already spent more than 100 USD on Dutch cheeses and Norwegian salami (two big Viking ones and two smaller black ones). It is going to be an expensive weekend!
