Exactly , it was unrelated!! You had to dig through my blog just to find that. And the subject was about a man who MOLESTED AND RAPED innocent children, I do not take it back ...I do hope he gets harsh judgement. You must not have children or have not been molested. Maybe then you might have a similar opinion. So no... I am not perfect and I never claimed to be,but I will ALWAYS stand for the weak, the voiceless ...the CHILDREN. Further more id rather be persecuted by the likes of you for speaking up for a innocent angelic child rather than a person on a dating blog who thinks its alright to make fun of people,specially a NEW Christian. Amen to that.

It surely did not read as a joke and I do not see how its funny. She said " Using the index is a terrible idea Donk. Anyone caught using the index is automatically labeled as a Bible illiterate. It's even worse than flipping backward and forward with that dazed expression on your face. Just sing that children's song over and over... Genesis, Exodus, Leviticusssss.... (There's a tune, but you have to add it on your end.)"
this is the sort of mentality that keeps people from wanting to learn , simply because they are being made fun of by what is supposed to be a fellow Christian. How in the world is this funny in any other way than cruel and condescending?

We all need to start somewhere, there is no sense in downing someone who is trying to learn and If I were you I would lose that uppity judgmental tone its really unattractive.
which in return she inboxed me and it was also condescending ,no apology at all. I feel that internet bullies are ramped. A simple apology would have done. Lord knows if I hurt someone ,even with a bad joke id apologize. I guess not all people care about the feelings of others. They just care about being right or liked.

Yes, we need to watch our tongues but I honestly can't see what's wrong with the joke. I believe you've had some horrible experiences. Maybe you're projecting as a result. Also, who's the new Christian? Donkey's been here for ages. I'm far from perfect but I've seen nothing but a Christ-likeness from Grace.

Then nothing I have to say will matter to you in regards of the ill considered joke. Sometimes we say things that hurt others because we haven't considered people who are not like us . Myself and a hand full of friends that I brought with me here are new in Christ. Having someone joke about how you read the bible doesn't necessarily make things any easier. Even God himself doesn't approve of the treatment. I am Thankful that I can read the bible as well as I can so far. I might get lost but its not funny or something I want to be made fun of for. Someday you might be the new guy and lets hope that someone sticks up for you.
