I know that I would not want to marry someone and then find out that they were not attracted to me physically.

I don't think it's a sin to not find someone attractive. But if the absence (or presence) of good looks causes someone to look down on someone else or treat them poorly, then that's when it becomes wrong.

Why is it that so many women who ARE intelligent still go for men that are bigoted towards women who are intelligent while ignoring the men that find the very fact that they are intelligent the most attractive thing about them? Because deep down women are just as shallow as they claim men are. In short, you women are as depraved as we are, perhaps worse.

Neither gender is more or less depraved than the other. All have fallen short of the glory of God; there are not some who have "fallen less".

I think both women and men who focus on looks so much are both shallow. I get the same annoyed feeling when both women and men check people out. I dont care to know your sexual desires, people..

Nothing wrong with liking someone's looks and liking someone's character/passions. However, there is something wrong with not liking someone because of these things. And this includes those who like to make people feel guilty for not liking them.

I have found that those who get angry about people not seeing through their "appearance" do the same to countless others who are interested in them. It can be very hypocritical. And manipulation is a form of witchcraft and rebellion. So let's not use "guilt trips" they don't go anywhere good.

Instead we should be thankful and rejoicing in all things. Knowing our God is good, a rewarder, and there is no lack in His Kingdom. There is plenty of people for everyone, just be you.

and personally I do not see the slightest bit of humor in making fun of anyone , neither have the other people who have liked my post. In the future you might want to check that "sarcasm" at the door because not everyone is going to detect it over the internet or see it as humor.

Sorry, but since the day she's joined i've not heard or seen one bad word said against Grace. She is well liked and her humor has gone over well. Perhaps the issue lies in your own defensiveness. This is not a criticism, just something for you to consider.

Doesn't sound very uplifting to hope another person burns in hell. Sorry, but if you're going to criticize and throw scriptures at someone because you misunderstood a small joke, you may want to make sure you have plenty of room to talk. She made a joke you misunderstood.. you wished someone to hell. Which one really is the bigger issue here?
