This is what a website said about my name Zoii :)

You have aspiration and inspiration, hope and guidance. Since you are intuitive and perceptive and you understand human nature. You have the power to achieve. Diplomacy and discretion make you a good mediator. You are inspired, introspective, and have a good understanding of the human heart. You can have the ability to commercialize your artistic talents successfully. You are often a mystery to others and to yourself. You are always reaching for something higher, without exactly knowing what that "higher" is.You are frank, methodical and believe in law, system and order.
You are seeking freedom, opportunities to enjoy life: to make love, to go places and to do things. You are very adventurous and willing to take risk to achieve your objectives. New ways and new experiences can't satisfy your restless nature. One adventure leads you to another. You are honest and fair, because you know that this is the only way to receive justice and honesty from other people. But your personal growth is vital for your, and it is difficult to be tied down by rules and obligations. Your restless spirit might best controlled by choosing the field of work that meet your demand for action and adventure.

I haven't read all the post so maybe there is another with the same name as me.
Mine is Michael (generally called Mike).
The Pastor of my first church told me (no doubt with expectation) that my name meant "who is like unto Him"

Reece, and it has two meanings, depending on which origin you take it from.

The first, which I was named for, means 'Ardent one' which means "One who loves life and people."

The second, which is more common to find these days, means enthusiasm.

So, the enthusiastic lover of life and people. ^_^
But... but... I thought Reece meant peanut butter cups.

Darlene means Dearly Beloved

Full name means Hard Working Royal Dearly Beloved Battle Maiden to Conquer People
What a handle to live up to! And how are you going to be dearly beloved by people you are conquering? :p

Just out of curiosity, which came first? Darlene or darling? Did one come from the other or do they have different origins?

I'm not sure of the exact translation but I'm pretty sure my name in any language means, "Trouble"... :p:cool:;)

Abing, the Van Damme avatars are a nice flashback!! It makes me want to start yelling, "Kumite!" or "Matte!" (Bloodsport.)

On the other hand... Have you seen him lately? I just saw a trailer for his most recent film and I admit I was a little shocked. Poor guy. He could run his own one-man poster campaign: "Don't Do Drugs... Because This Is What It Looks Like Later On."
*wonders what name means trouble*

Lol, I recently found out that I was following him on Facebook (Van Damme). He decided to flood my Facebook news feed with his muscles and split and flashbacks, hence my changing of avatars. No I haven't seen this trailer, is it Kickboxer: Vengeance? I must check that out.

You sure? Cause in Portuguese Jacob is Jacó and James is Tiago... and they are both distinct names....

*confused*

Ha ha ha, Abing, good one!!! Back when he first round-housed his way into the scene, I saw all his movies... And I definitely give him kudos for the commercial he did a few years ago in which he did the splits between two moving semi-trucks. Just watching that made my palms sweat with anxiety.

I also read that the roundhouse kick he did in the Expendables movie was real and he did the shot in one take. So I definitely have to give the man his chops. :)

The last movie I saw a trailer for is called "Pound of Flesh". Basically some young girl seduces him, drugs him, and someone comes in and removes his kidney to sell on the black market. So, he has to go around beating people up (with one arm? No, with one kidney.)

It actually looked pretty doggone gory... I think I'm going to have pass up "The Muscles From Brussels" this time.

Now, to make this post legit: I have been told my name means "Forever Kind." Eh. I think I'll stick with "Trouble." :p And my Mom once told my high school boyfriend, "She's Something Only a Mother Could Love."

Yep somewhere the English started calling Jacob ...James Like the book of James is clearly Jacob from the Greek... It seems a mystery why the word was changed in how it was pronounced, but it seems to be a old English deal to the best of my studies?

[h=4]from http://www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/James.html#.VfB17RHBzGc

Etymology of the name James
[/h]The English name James comes from the Greek name Iakobos, and Iakobos comes from the Hebrew name Jacob. The name Jacob comes from the Hebrew verb עקב (aqab) meaning to take by the heel or supplant. When the Bible was translated into Latin, the name Iacobos became transliterated into Iacobus, and late Latin turned that into Iacomus — the b and the m being somewhat similar in sound in nasal languages. The early French version of this Latin name became the shortened Gemmes, which then traveled into the English speaking world as James.

People call me K-Dizzle or if you're super close to me, it'd be K-Dawg.

Also, Randy Jackson is my Dad and Michelle Obama is my Mom.

If Michelle Obama is your mum,
can you hook me up with one of those Abraham Lincoln mouse pads from the Press Secretary's office?

You might have to steal it, but ya know, you're in a political family... so who'd care?
