Are those fruit cups that are chilly? I'm down with the sushi and pizza though. I had Wendy's chili but it wasn't fruity.
Lol, it's one of those x-lg clear cups of fruit like watermelon, cantaloupe, jicama then they drizzle lemon juice and chili sauce over it, vendors sell on corners around here.

Sounds yummy but that chili sauce seems problematic. I once ate some dark chocolate with chili pepper though and it was a tasty combo.

I watch a lot of travel/food shows...and those fruit cups sound sooo good. They hit all the taste buds. They say with the fruit being sweet it tones down the sauce just enough. Is this true?
Asking for a friend...;)

Exactly, the lemon and chili sauce squirted over the fruit really perk up the flavors. Actually, I think buying the liquid chili sauce, getting a lemon then cutting up a mango, some watermelon and cantaloupe would just about be the same thing.

Ooh...mind sharing your recipe? Please? :)
Sure.
(All measurements approximate)
Ingredients:
3-4 cups chopped cabbage (red & green)
1 cup chopped onion (white)
1lb ground turkey, cooked
Salt
Pepper
Chopped dry sweet basil leaves
Garlic powder
Ground ginger
3/4 bottle teriyaki sauce

(don't forget to grease pan)
In 8x8 deep ceramic pan layer following in order:
1 1/2 cup cabbage
1/2 cup onion
Cooked ground turkey
Sprinkle salt and pepper
Generous shake of ground ginger, garlic powder, and sweet basil
1/2 cup onion
1 1/2 cup cabbage
Light sprinkle of all seasoning plus a tiny bit of chopped dry tarragon leaves (I also drizzle a bit of Mongolian fire oil [House of Tsang] on top which adds a delicious flaver and a bit of kick)

Bake in oven on 375°F until cabbage is tender. Pour sauce over casserole. Bake until sauce is hot(5-10 min). Enjoy!

Thank you. I will have to try this and maybe perhaps with pulled chicken too. ;)
