Troubled girl, so you like guys with long black hair, whatever. You're 18, be 18. You don't have to go searching for that perfect guy, there isn't one. Relax just live life, pray and focus on education, or something that will make you happy.

Maybe because, in the long run, hair colour preference really doesn't matter. I've always been attracted to redheaded girls. I'm now in my first relationship ever and my girl doesn't have red hair, but I'm cool with that, she has so much more to offer than surface preferences eg. godly, fun-loving character, an inquisitive mind, a beautiful soul and the skills and talents God has given her. And that's just the beginning. She's not a red head, but I love her!

Well it's because I always fell in love with guys with black long hair. And I know guys with black long hair exist, and many of them are 6'1 tall or more, and many of them are peaceful too and not clowns like the Mad Hatter which is a clown actually and many of them are also pale or lightskinned, but HOW MANY born-again non-denominational Christians exist in this world? There are 2.1 billion Christians in this world, but I bet that most Christians are just Catholic or other denominations.

Dang it, if I will never get any boyfriend for me, then I will start having a crush on Snape again and I will just pretend to be in a relationship with him and then I will do eye tricks with videos so I can hallucinate Snape and then I am happily but falsely married. Because I refuse to be in a relationship with a Mad Hatter lookalike guy!

Ahhh...so...tempted...to say...something...that I said...before...that made...OP...unhappy. (Especially after that most recent post lol. I mean really...what?)

But what I really intended to say was that I think you need to focus on becoming a healthier and more mature person before you get into any kind of relationship.

For what it's worth I'm Presbyterian, wasn't always, I feel we all pretty much believe in the same thing. When I met my Husband neither one of us worshipped anywhere. We found a church together. His parents are agnostic and my Dad was Catholic, My Mom is Baptist,so we knew we wanted to follow one thing and give our kids that stability. I didn't get married until I was 29.

I've never focused on a denomination because well do you believe in God? do you believe in Jesus? yes, OK then. I did date a non practicing Jewish guy for a while, that didn't work but he's a friend now. If you click with someone you click, as long as he isn't some devil worshipping psycho you should be OK.

Ok good. I will get someone who has black long hair then as long as he is not a pervert. I met 2 guys of my type in the Internet but they were both downright perverts.

Are you sure that they were even guys?

I'd say at your age stay away from meeting guys on the internet, I know that's what's popular these days , but it can be dangerous.

That's been your problem all along. You're infatuated with fictional, dark-haired characters. Yes, I'm sure alot of christian guys have long, dark hair, and if you pray in earnest to find one, God may just grant your request. Just make sure your not trying to find a guy based off of your crush on fictional people like Snape.

I agree with Fenner. The internet is a very bad place to meet guys (or girls, for that matter). Try meeting real people in your neighborhood, or maybe have a friend introduce you to someone. Get to really know them pretty well first. But like another poster said, you're only 18--enjoy life a bit first and when the time is right, God will send you the one HE wants for you, and if you pray and ask him to send you a godly, loyal, christian man with dark hair, I'm sure he will. Maybe then you'll finally forget about Snape and the Mad Hatter!! LOL.

These are the kind of posts that show lack of maturity on the matter. We all encourage you to build your walk with Christ, and making threats to reverting to an old lifestyle if you can't get the type of man you want is problematic. I am fully aware of what idolatry is which is what you just proved you are doing by threatening to go back to your Snape stuff if you cannot have the type of man you want. God has so much more planned for you, and you can't even imagine it, but He can't until you allow Him.

Nonono. God will give me the one I WANT, not what He wants. If He gives me someone He wants, then He is forcing me. It would be a terrible nightmare if God wants me to be with someone who is not my type, like the Mad Hatter or Brad Pitt or whatever other guy who is not my type. EWWWWWWW. Why would God want me to be with someone who is not my type? That's not even possible. God respects His people and I am sure He doesn't force anyone to be with someone who is not the person's type.

And I don't have a crush on Snape anymore, and also, he is Alan Rickman with a wig and a costume, there is no such person as Severus Snape. And the knave of Hearts is Crispin Glover with black long hair and a heart shaped eyepatch and a fake scar. I like Ritsu Kisaragi but Ritsu is not my crush, but he is pretty much the ideal type of man though but Ritsu is 5'10/178cm tall.

This is Ritsu Kisaragi by the way:

Isn't he cute? And his blue hair means shiny black hair. It's so black that it has some blueish tint too.

NO NO NO. It dont work that way, honey!! How do you know that God does'nt already have a black-haired, pale-skinned person in mind for you? You're being prideful saying that he's gonna give you what YOU want. Of course, your basing "your type" of guy on the looks of fictional character like Snape, the Mad Hatter and whoever else. Try focusing on real people for once, not some fantasy version of the perfect guy. Perfect people dont exist, not in this sinful world, anyway.
