Thread derail alert:
Coffee house? Really, Kim?
I think it resembles an asylum with a bunch of loonies. And, that's just why I keep coming here. I need my daily shot of insanity in an otherwise sane world. Nobody in my real life knows that I can be so goofy, except, perhaps the ones who are closest to me. So, yeah, this is where I unleash my craziness. :p

I don't know find any problem with married people posting here, as long as they don't get preachy about our single state and as long as they aren't looking for mates here.
Yeah, it's the Singles Forum, Come as You Are.

No one here has to worry about fashion, because we all wear the same jackets anyway. :p

Roh, I'm sorry you have to be so guarded in your everyday life :(. We're so glad you're here. I love your cultural insights and you're always so much fun to joke with, but you have a gift of expressing yourself through the tranquil moments as well.

Besides. Someone has to help me keep Donkeyfish in line.

Actually, that's a forum-wide job... :p

I know you are joking but seriously, I need you guys. Literally all of my true Christian friends are from CC. In everyday life, I have no one else close to me who cares to think about Jesus everyday

It sounds like a lot of people are actually in this situation... I come here because in some ways, CC IS my "relationship". It's a place to have interaction and in a way, a "companion". Some people will brand that as pathetic; I see it as safe and practical (CC can fit around a busy schedule, not the other way around.)

That's what we're here for, Donkey. :)

And we're glad you're here, too.

Happily married couples are so encouraging!

My husband's first word's to me were, "Do you like Rush?"
I said yes, and he knew...he knew right then that I was the one.
And we've been happily together since :D

Wow. That's just beautiful.

I hope someday some really nice guy asks me, "Do you like 90's alternative rock?" heart_beating_final.gif

(And 70's classic rock, too.) LOL

1. Because many of the threads here have nothing to do with being single or married.

2. Because married people want to keep singles from making the same mistakes they have in relationships.

Um, what?

I am not sure what you meant, so could you explain it clearly? Are you saying that divorced singles posting in the CC Singles forum pose more of a problem than married folks posting here?
