Why do men suddenly disappear?

Because sometimes life hits us so hard that we cannot cope. We retreat into ourselves not letting anyone in. We will shut everything out. Even us Christians will close the door on God. We are supposed to be the "strong ones". We are the "leaders" of the family. We are the "leaders" of the Church. We are the "leaders" of the job. In todays society if a woman "fails" at something it is because she "is a woman". If a man fails it is because he is "not a real man". It is easier to "disapperar" than to face those accusations. That is why men "disapear".
Dont believe me? Two failed marriages, cannot do the job i love due too health, no longer a deacon at my chuch (due too second failed marriage).
Society sees weakness so even though things may seem to be going well they really arent. Men are good at hiding these pains and when it becomes too much we "disapear".

The baby wasn't even the thing for me initially. I saw that dog looking at the guy, like... "You ignore me, betray my undying love and loyalty...for this? Is that why you're smiling?"

Its on both sides of the fence. I had it happened to me except it was a Woman. The term for it now days is called "Ghosting" which is very immature and cowardly. Basically the person is a poor communicator and can not handle arguments or confrontation. It is better to be honest and upfront with them. Instead of leaving them with a bunch of unanswered questions and heap of emotions. However it happens to the best of us. How I dealt with Ghosting or leaving without a word. I sulked a little like everyone does and took a time out. Gathered myself and put myself back out here to meet someone new.
Why do we do it ladies. A lot of the same reasons you do it and it varies. Maybe they can get the hint. Maybe you lost interest and found someone new. The list can go on an on. If you can think it. That is highly the reason. Remember their is nothing wrong with you or the problem at hand. Though at that time it does sting. It was ultimately a choice that two people are agreeing to make a relationship work. Sometimes people change their mind and it stinks. It happens on both sides ladies.
