The drivers test has got to be the easiest test ever made. If you fail the first time, just plan on using Uber the rest of your life. People deserve to be on the road with drivers who have the capacity for it.
Here in NZ we have 3 types of drivers licenses;

1. Learners licence - fairly easy, a multi choice test, but you can’t get 3 or more wrong or else you fail. Once you pass, you then can sit your....

2. Restricted licence - it’s both theory and practical. Funnily, according to our stats, this test is the hardest one out of the 3. Once you pass this test, you can then sit your.....

3. Full licence - another theory and practical but not as hard as the Restricted.

Each one has their own terms and conditions but I can’t be bothered listing them. Look online :)

It doesn't matter. Other people deserve to have competent drivers on the highways. Lives are at stake.

Well, you can be the best driver in the whole world but you can’t guarantee that everything will go smoothly. There’s alot of factors to consider such as drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs, people using their phones while driving (no handset) etc.

Agree, that peoples lives are at stake and I’m all about road safety.

Mel I think that's exactly what Tommy was saying. Other people deserve to be safer, which means they need their fellow drivers on the road to actually know what they are doing. Other drivers on the road deserve for us to drive safely.

And making sure people are competent enough to aperate a motor vehicle upon the public highways, is a good start.

It depends on how much I trust her with money. If she has an itchy trigger finger, I have to make sure she doesn't use up all our ammo. ;)
You can still have a joint account..just agree on an "allowance" thats mutually agreed upon especially if you have to budget...most likely she knows shes apt to spend and if she loves you..she shouldnt be upset by the boundaries because she knows youre doing it out of love..not restriction or malice..if youre rich..well..no problem with her spending..:) i think having a couples money together is just another way of becoming "one lesh" that God created marriage for...

I think it's a matter of trusting each other, and let someone who's better at managing money have the main control over it, and that person should spend money for the best interest of both husband and wife

To the OP Question... When I was married, my ex and I shared a primary bank account and a credit card account. Fortunately, we didn't have problems with money being spent mysteriously, but I would be very cautious about having that arrangement again. It was a pain to undo after the separation.

I would suggest that each have a personal account, and a shared account they both can access. Money for shared bills gets transferred to the joint account and paid from there.
This might be a good idea but i still think that each should not only KNOW the other has other personal accounts but also amounts ...purchase even if the other doesnt have access to it.

Then the problem might come into play as it does with a lot of couples..define "priority" with the money..im sure youll get very different answers between the man and the woman..lol

Problem is; you can never know what's going on in another person's mind.

So would you say that even the smallest purchases like a pie or lunch should be communicated to the spouse who has no control over finances or vice verca?

Hence an "allowance to the one who tends to spend more....even little purchases add up and if you have a monthly grocery budget or misc budget etc..both should know where the moneys going..even if you sit down and pay your bills once a month..

For me if I choose to marry someone, I will have got to deeply know this man, and prayed long and hard before marriage. If I do marry then we will be (One) . I don't want to have to live a married life prepared to divorce. The Lord blesses us as (one) not two. If I need his and hers. I might as well stay single. That's my belief on the question.
