The Word (Logos) was an "expression" of God Himself.
2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
If God did not create humans He would have no need to come in the flesh and shed His own blood. He would not need to express His image to someone who never existed. So therefore He would just be God without an image. The Bible teaches us that there is One Spirit of God. God is One and no one can divide Him. However, humans needed the blood sacrifice of Jesus whom is the image of God and God in the flesh, to shed His blood and die for us.
1Co 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Act 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
1Jn 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
The Father is the Holy Ghost -
Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Mat 1:19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
Mat 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Luk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
The Father, which is the Holy Ghost - the One Spirit caused the birth of the Man Jesus whom was God in the flesh and the Father, in which dwelt all the fulness of the Godhead.
1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Who was? God was. . . Including, being received up into glory.
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
He is: God, and our Savior.
You would say that "God" and the "Father" is two separate persons would you?
Eph 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
But when God became our savior one might say He is a different person.
1Ti 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Tit 1:3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
God is One Spirit and we know Him Who became a man for the purpose of our salvation. If God would not have made man there would be not purpose for Jesus to be born Who is God manifest to mankind. It is there that there is One God in the Bible. But it is not there that God is divided. To say God is anything more or less is creating something that God Himself doesn't know about.
There is one place for our God to be seated in Heaven and One lamb which is the type of the sacrificial Lamb who was slain for our sins. In order for the seals to be opened God Himself had to taste of how it was like to be a man. Therefore Jesus "God becoming man," was worthy to open the seals.
Even trying to understand the fact that God came as a human here for us is so amazing and so hard to grasp. However, God is so much greater than we.
For one to say that God is, three separate and distinct persons, which would mean each one would have each a mind of his own (that is the definition of being distinct), would be totally conflicting to the Word of God. However, to allow the Word to show us what is there which is in simplicity is a much greater approach. We do this through the Spirit of God leading us and through prayer and fasting. If we approach God's Word already convinced of something, then that is the eyes we will see God through.
If we believe God is real and God has all of the power and can communicate with us, then cleanse yourselves and do what the Bible says. Pray to the almighty God and ask Him for yourselves Who He is and you can know God for yourselves. God indeed can do this and wants to do this.
God bless
