Silly women! Why do they need to think for themselves? That's what husbands are for! They don't need none of that book-learnin' anyway. Not quite sure why God wasted a perfectly good brain by putting it in a woman. Besides, men are all good and moral so there's no reason a woman should need protection from one.

I don't believe anyone has the right to vote away another's God-given rights and freedom, hence my disdain for democracy.

I'm not against men; rather, I support both genders working together for the good of God's kingdom. As a woman, I can't live to my full God-ordained potential if my "brothers" feel it is their "Christian duty" to "put me in my place." (And, yes, I've had men say that to me and to other Godly women.) If you understood the culture of the time of the Bible, you would see just how radical Christ's treatment of women was. Your manhood is not diminished just because a woman is used of God to accomplish great things. We are all joint-heirs with Christ and with each other, and we deserved equal treatment under the law, in society, and in the church.

One more thing, whether one agrees with feminism or not we as Christians should put God's law over any man made law. Just because the law books say something is legal or ok doesn't mean God agrees with it.

I have a question for the men. I've noticed that in some churches, it seems that more and more women who are on praise teams, or wives of pastors are starting to wear Skinny Jeans/Pants, or strapless dresses during church. As a man, does this cause you more problems, or are you not really even affected by this?

Married, I agree with equal pay for equal work. For example, teachers should be paid more than professional sports people. But some of your views on females are non-biblical and damaging. I'm not advocating the 'no need for men/all men are rapists or pedophiles' bollocks that often seems to count for feminism nowadays. I'm talking about the God-given truth that men and women are to be respected equally and treated accordingly. They shouldn't be treated equally, in the sense that men and women respond to stimuli differently and are very different (because that's the way God made us). I'm not the kind of person that says a woman should have such and such a role in society 'just because'. I think the most qualified and passionate and suitable person should be given the role, whether they're male or female. Some of your views are biblical but some are doing as disservice to our sisters in Christ.

If you are out of place, I believe it is the duty of Christian elders or Godly men to put you in place, irregardless of gender. If you don't agree with the rebuke of a Godly man, I suppose the next step is to talk with several Godly men, or perhaps your elders.

Men are attracted by vision, when a women shows cleavage men look, why wouldn't we, it's very sexy, but that can quickly turn into lust which is wrong, but we are only human and it is very distracting, same thing with short skirts Men look and if you dress that way you really want us to look. This thread isn't about men ogling women. Its about why women need to learn to cover up in public. It's not really rocket science, but as you seem to have everything else backward, at least you are also consistent with this topic.

Think about something that strongly catches your attention. . .chocolate(for many women this is something that does)? Now imagine you are in a room with some of your favourite chocolates, but you are not allowed to look at them at all. Those who do are handed out some form of punishment. For guys a provocatively dressed woman is like that. We don't look because we are horny perverts, but because a womans boyd is like candy to us. Dress modestly as God teaches in Paul's letters and you are more likely to get the right kind of attention.

As much as I sympathize with a man that has issues with wanting to oggle I believe that you made an incorrect generalization (and it would see the testimony of most of the lads here on this post support my opinion) that ALL guys struggle with the appearance of a woman tempting them to sin. The power of a man not to sin lies with God, not with women. Also, a woman constantly worrying about her appearance and the possibility of causing a brother to sin is counter-productive to the ideology that all attention and glory should go to God in the church. Her mind would be on herself and not Him. Continually worrying about a man's mentality also puts too much emphasis on men as well. It's all based on the principle that a woman's responsibility is to God, as is a man's... and if they are both there with a mind to worship together will they really even notice the clothes? It will be the faces if anything that catches the eye.
