4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
5Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

I'm "working" really hard to "rest" according to His will. So does the bible say using lights not ok?
Buy or sell - Water company is a very good argument. Using computer is just as guilty too. Actually we, our fellowship has been debating such for a long time. Thanks.
On the other hand, quite a few worked on the Sabbath and were not guilty in OT such as the priests performing duties at the temple, the gate keepers, soldiers protecting the nation and such. Just so you know.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i wonder why we use electricity to praise God in playing music .

It is lawful to do good on the sabbath day hmmmmmm wisdom is justified of her children.

so you believing today is the Sabbath,,,according to the scriptures are at the same time willing to not return to the same set of laws and then quote things that can be done from those not? but then instead quote from the new and say there is also grace,,,,,,,

what is Grace ?

what is its funtion today ?

What is sin ?

how does grace works when we sin ?

It's by grace God gives us this commandment so we can excuse our flesh from working. The OT believers found Him a gracious God too but you made this commandment into something scary. Are you a workaholic?

tomorrow, Sunday the day the others say is the Sabbath i ask the same of lights and water,,,,, now they to honor it may not answer but Monday if they do search their history and see if on the Sabbath they say they keep they posted in their archives,,,,,,,both are broken,,,i do not contend as to which is the 7th day,,,,the 8th is the one not seen,,,,,,

That was what my pastor told me but I couldn't find anywhere in the Bible says Sunday is the Lord's day. There's no problem at all to take a rest on Sunday but when Yeshua says Sabbath is made for man then I would take full advantage of it.

Collossians 2

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Is there a sabbath (the one in the 10 commandments) other than the seventh day? On the other hand, could you show me where the bible says Sunday is the Lord's day?

I guess I would give them the day off if they are under my control and are within my gate.

Then I guess you already have the answers so why ask? By the way, Yeshua quite often answered questions with questions. I guess you know that too.

It is quite obvious that you have no real knowledge of Moses and the Levitical System.

Leviticus 25

The Lord said to Moses at Mount Sinai,2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the Lord.3 For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and gather their crops.4 But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the Lord. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards.5 Do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the grapes of your untended vines. The land is to have a year of rest.6 Whatever the land yields during the sabbath yearwill be food for you—for yourself, your male and female servants, and the hired worker and temporary resident who live among you,7 as well as for your livestock and the wild animals in your land. Whatever the land produces may be eaten

Leviticus 23:32

It is a day of sabbath rest (Not Friday night to Saturday Night) for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath."

I would suggest that if it is so simple then I am sure you are keeping these Sabbath laws which were clearly established by Moses as well.

Are you keeping them or not? If not then by your own definition, you are a sinner as a Sabbath breaker. Now I can imagine that your next move here will be to say that the above mentioned Sabbaths don't apply. To that I will ask where is this stated in the New Testament.

Make sure that you keep these Sabbaths as you feel they will some how keep you right with God.
